Arg, this is driving me nuts. I'm watching a problem as it forms, know I can prod someone to change things, and am afraid of both what can happen if the situation goes unchecked, and what could happen if I prod and get pulled into being the solution.

@ponydude2143 @ponydude2143 That's kinda why the site was more or less abanoned and why someone else had to make a new one at all? The site's been around since early on after Equestria Daily was formed. After that, he set out the groundwork for EqAD realizing that there would be ponies into that kind of thing (I'm pretty sure this was before FiMchan and PonyChan were made as well), but left it up the people viewing the site to keep things up to date in the comments on their own, only coming back about once every month or so to add anything to the site proper. (new categories, pretty much.) And with a new EqAD, chances are he's pretty much just going to abandon the old one. Again.

@scribusthehomicidalmaniac I think Nyx is from Past Sins, a fanchar more or less spawned from the question of what happened to the force that made Luna into Nightmare Moon. While I've heard that Past Sins is good, I've personally never read it. (I've only read one clopfic with Nyx in it, and it was painfully generic... Though still better than none, I suppose. )

As he said, he just didn't have his heart into the clop thing.

I only really read fics that I'd be interested in, like the Foalin' Around series by Hotsauce, Sunny Skies All Day Long by some guy I don't remember, Here's to You Miss Pinkamena Diane Pie by Buttersc0tchSundae, the Ponies DnD fic, Filly Foolin by Hotsauce, Hrm... Yeah... Come to think of it, most of the fics I really know well are clop or Celestia.

@greydragon412 In those cases, I say, "I am sorry for hurting your feelings." Which is usually a true statement, and leaves the part where I'm entirely unappologetic about my own decision and actions for them to either figure out later, or incorrectly assume was the case (Which they can not defend if I quote myself later).

And now it's dawning on me that a number of people I now know through ponies who were depressed (not just sad, depressed. As in lasting over very long periods of time.) before ponies are falling back into sadness probably because of the lack of pony lately. Silly and laid back as I tend to be, I'm actually not very good at the whole cheering-up thing
