@scribus I can understand your feelings. Sometimes Linux is a great pain in the ass and Windows is a maintenance nightmare (software updates and system updates). I'd like to test MacOS but even an old Mac is quite expensive. I'm curious to know how they operate and fell in a daily use but I'm not 500€ curious.

@adiwan I'd used them for eight years at the PennySaver, so I was already pretty familiar with their day-to-day foibles. In a perfect world, I'd be able to get a workstation-quality laptop with a stable operating system of my choice without having to go "premium," but what're you gonna do?
