@retl There is truth to the fact that even well-maintained media has a disturbingly short lifespan. And yet, copies of copies introduce bit creep. Data preservation for posterity and the benefit of future generations is a very interesting yet touchy topic.

@retl Yes. A physical copy is always a necessity for future preservation.

@communistprime You sign up to the exchange service, and a couple weeks before the exchange date (International Friendship Day, in this case) it will randomly assign matches from the members of the group to exchange gifts. Then you communicate with your match over however you feel like (probably email) to exchange addresses to exchange the gifts.

@miloth Have you heard the remix project? It is a most excellent fan project that remade/remixed the music from the game. @miloth It's really freakin' good. It may very well be the best run-n-gun "Metroidvania" style game in existence. The music is excellent, the characters are well-developed, the story is far more amazing and detailed then what I've come to expect from most video games, the length is basically perfect, and the difficulty scales nicely. It's pretty much awesome.

In other news, I'm also currently planning out both a midwest bronies camping trip and a midwest bronies meetup. If you have any suggestions as to good locations for either, let me know. Preferably within a 5-hr drive or so of Springfield, OH ^_~

@delc17 Nope, havn't even been on the internet since ACen until now. Havn't checked EQD yet -_-;; @loak It was far less interesting than previous years... there weren't many panels I was interested in this year, and there didn't seem to be as much going on. @carcinopony But Vermont seems to be more Equestria-like...

@loak Wasn't familiar at all. Met quite a few random bronies at ACen last weekend, and it seemed like everybody wanted to have a meetup but nobody had planned when/where, and one never happened.
