  1. @beatstrings I want one of those...

  2. @beatstrings Plus, the site I gave you is in Canadian money. Its probably much less in the US.

  3. @beatstrings I honestly highly recommend that mouse. As I said. I've only changed its battery once after more than a year of usage.

  4. @beatstrings Because I don't think there are 9 --> 1.5 converters.

  5. @beatstrings Well mod in that double A.

  6. @techdisk And it comes with a battery.

  7. @techdisk I bought this mouse many months, maybe even a year ago. I've gone through exactly one battery for it.

  9. @beatstrings Seriously, though. Unless you have a DC power converter for 9 volts down to 1.5, don't use the 9 volt. Use the double A. Or buy a new mouse.

  10. I am taking electrical engineering. I don't mess around. :P

  11. And with the fact the mouse uses different amounts of amperage at different times, a simple resistor will not work to lower the voltage properly. Ohm's law, Voltage equals current times resistance, shows that only having a resistor to drop the voltage in a constantly changing current will make the voltage constantly change. Also, 9 volts down to 1.5 is a lot of wasted power from heat.

  12. A capacitor in line with a DC source will act as an open circuit.

  13. @beatstrings Also you'd be surprised how much more time simply switching to a double A gives you.

  14. @beatstrings Resistor. Not capacitor.

  16. @beatstrings Make absolutely sure you know what you're doing. Two triple As do NOT equal 9 volts.
