  2. @adiwan No worries, I just pulled a joke out of that phraise where in its original intent there was none.

I've been looking at a peanutbutter jar and thought "Hey, if I jury rig the face place way from its original design I can probably fit this DIY solder clock in there.

Should I attempt just that ?

  3. @adiwan Inhaling Pb ? That stuff does not boil untill 2022 Kelvin.

But yeah, I guess you are right. Also to remedy the problem of not being able to touch the things I soldered, I guess I should also should learn how to build an acrylic case.

    That or a 3D printer.

    Or a laser-cutter.

  4. @adiwan [ mostly in a relatable way. ]

Now I know that is a feeling, and I could never tell you that you are wrong. But things like Gravity Falls and MLP feel more relatable to me than BB. Not in that I actually come into contact with magic on the daily ( I should fix that ) but I would save my sibling from vampires or get all exited when I get one of my friends involved with one of my hobbies to the point where I forego my normal silent and reserved demeanor ( That is a long way around to get to scratch my back, but I hope you get what I mean... Fluttershy and Tank, I am thinking about that thing ). The motivations seem to remain stable and similar enough where I am able to crawl in their mindset.

Meanwhile in BB, let us say that the characters are indeed deeper to the point where the other two pale in comparison. Then you run into the trouble of never ever being able to show us enough of their actual personalities to make enough connections for relatablility, and that takes me out.

  5. @adiwan I googled it and found http://rainbowdash.net/url/874540

I am honestly confused. Were there moments where I was supposed to go "Hahaha ! instead of "Oh wow this is cringe inducingly bad"

    I liked the intro though.

  6. @adiwan As someone who despises Bob's Burgers, I have to ask, what does that mean ?

  8. @adiwan Hmm, now I want candy.

    I even voted past week.

I can not believe that no political party has that on their agenda.

You know, if they want to shout at the top of their lungs about what and who is a sucker and who or what is not, at least they can bring candy to the voters.

First off, because I love puns ( and candy ) second off because it requires like half my energy to even halfway understand what those people want.

  10. @adiwan So... Same-ol-same-ol but it requires a Tech-Priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus to touch, got it.

  13. @adiwan Series ending on the choice of the writer always does feel way better than someone else going "You have X issues to end the series". Just look at "Black Panther & The Crew" also known as the BLM Marvel Comic. That ending came out of nowhere and it was not statisfying at all.

Then again it is rumored that the sales figures for the first issue were 287000, issue 3 only got 25000 copies and issue 4 only 17500 copies.

And at this point in time I wonder what is quicker, the Terminal Velocity of a comic book, or that comic book sales. You know, since I am a huge science nerd.

    ... I miss brainiac...

  15. @adiwan I still haven't seen the full first season. I did see Ned die. Maybe a bit after that. Kinda muddled, because I read the books to a point, too.

  17. @adiwan Oh, ehh. That sounds a lot like people who never even held a controller and make them design their own controller. That or play Sekiro, not sure which is the more hilarious thing to imagine.

I am afraid that without going into any details I can not imagine how hard it is to deliver on such a weird thing.

Though I would have probably given up a long time ago and instead just tried to make a miniature replica and let people 'do the thing' on that thing.

Or... maybe... try to use this thing somehow ? http://rainbowdash.net/url/874441

  25. @adiwan and gummy bears, and coca cola lids, and taffee, and cookies, and cupcakes, and sushi, and soft pretzels, and banana & Peanutbutter, and yoghurt, and ( melted ) ice cream, and Starmix, Heck I once exited the cinema with almost a complete pizza stuck under there.

... I am no longer fans of such places...

  30. @adiwan Agreed, you can litterally achieve the same with a USB C hook connector and the cheapest tablet stand you can find. But that does not make me any less curious regarding and I still would like to see a picture of the official stand's internals.

"But it is Nintendo's official product and it just looks good" - a fanboy

Look, I am not saying you should not get it, I just expect more than just a fancy looking passthrough of GND, VBUS, CC and USB 2.0 data channels on something that would cost 25 Euro's and has USB type C. What for ? Well, Idunno really, but I am sure there is someone out there who would prefer to play with an XboX controller while in handheld mode and charging at the same time.
