  2. @adiwan Spider-Woman is kind of weird, too. Isn't she more about something like the "Web" of Fate, or something?

  3. @adiwan He is now, but I remember some backlash when he was introduced. Personally, I was just sick of new spider-folk, which I have since recanted. Spider-Verse ruled!!

  4. @adiwan Now that I think about it, it may have been more about black Spider-Man.

  5. @adiwan I dunno, but there were people butthurt over the comics, too.

  6. @adiwan I'm still not sure if the trains are literally giant Battletoads tubesnakes or if the art is just that surrealistic and impressionistic.

  7. @adiwan I quite enjoyed it, but you are not wrong. I think, BoJack is "adult animation" or an "animated sitcom," but Tuca and Bertie is definitely a "grown-up cartoon."

  8. @adiwan Please somebody think of the wagons !!!

... Wait, what, oh now I can totally get behind it :D

  9. @adiwan How is a train crash in any way grotesque ?

  10. @adiwan Ohh, I really like that.

But ehh, I am about 90% convinced that there is no IR on this here RC.

I'mma check that the next time my camera is charged. ( since the equine eye can not see the infrared, but camera's can. )

  11. @adiwan It's rubbery, it goes on top like a mat, it contains little black 'feet' that make the connection on the PCB happen.

That mat thing is damaged and causes the 'button' to sometimes misallign, or worse, causes the button to run away and I have to go clean my room to find it.

  12. @adiwan Lets just say that everyone who has a deck (either store bought or assembled from card tradeing websites) is going to whoop my ass when I show up with my deck that I scraped together with the stuff that I collected over the years.

Also, 150$ for essentially 100 cards is not that much considering that some top-tier decks are worth way over a thousand.

Also the price is bound to go only up. Unless if the hobby crashes.

  14. @adiwan Not to burst your ink-bubble but the lower ranks of Splatoon are filled with 13 year olds. Oh and yes you are ranked even if you play unranked.

If you were to play about 2 rounds per day you missed since released with a 90% win-rating you would have made up for about half of every missed splat-fest that the match-AI seems to award points for.

That is about 1296 matches, and then you should be in your very own ELO-Hell. Well about that number anyway.

  16. @adiwan I had an end-credit scene, but it was weird. A different movie started playing, and then an usher came and yelled at me to leave. It was immersive! But I didn't understand it....

  17. @adiwan Considering there was some sort of event going on yesterday, I can relate staying up some 22 hours straight and how it can numb the feeling of enthusiasm of, well, everything I guess.

Meanwhile this thing plays at the back of my mind http://rainbowdash.net/url/874327

    Stupid pattern seeking cranial matter.

  18. @adiwan I can only assume that you going to bed straight after watching it speaks to how mindblowingly good ( or not ) it was.

  19. @adiwan Well, they are not the only ones on my long short-list of bad companies that I wish death upon.

Bethesda, Activision-Blizzard, Sony, Pachinkonami, Take-Two Interactive.

Most surprisingly is that Epic games is not on that list, but mostly because I have no idea what the long term effects will be on the digital game-storefronts.

Steam does not seem to care that Epic seems to lure developers away with no tact to it whatsoever. If the store wants to take off it should lure customers and not developers in my honest opinion. And then people like Randy Pitchford goes on a Tweet-Rampage on how developers will choose the future of gaming and not the customers.

I mean...aaaaaah... I am so close to a rant of proportion that makes Jason Shreier's article on why Anthem failed look like a tabloid article by comparison

    Wheeze, wheeze, wheeze

But please for the love of all things tasty, if things do not work any way preferable, let those games be the most pirated thing on the web.

  21. @adiwan This reminds me of an X-Files episode where the guy kept seeing flashes of this face that was found in atmospheric noise and it slowly drove him insane.

  23. @adiwan Ah, yeah, me too. I probably have a PS2, N64, NES hiding around somewhere. Also a PSP, 3DS and for some reason an OG GameBoy within reach-length if I can remember what pile they rest in.

But what I really hate are updates, maybe especially so on Windows 10. If I want my system to go into hibernation at the end of the day ( because face it, sometimes I do not want to restart all of the stuff I was busy with ) and see there is an update queued, I might as well do a cointoss on whether or not the system will restart itself in the middle of the night and once done actually reboot untill the last YouTube thing I was busy with starts blaring though my speakers in the darkest hours of the night.

Quickest way to fix that is probably to switch browsers.

  24. @adiwan One of the reasons why I usually get my consoles after they left primary circulation. Then I proceed to use them offline in one fashion or the other.

  29. @adiwan My desire to try that game RIGHT NOW rises exponentially since I am a mech-fan.

Sadly my speed to get in gear is about as fast as a Steiner Scout Lance.

You see, that is funny if you are a Mech-fan. Atlasses, More Atlasses !!!

  30. @adiwan I forgot, I have that game now. I'll let you know if my first time is just as troublesome.

Probably is since I never even touched it but already hate the main gameplay loop that is called weapon degradation.
