  2. I'm already suffering a lot because of the hot weather. Tomorrow it'll be more unbearable. Just like life in general.

  3. @tiff I'd be also very hesitant to go to the rapist

  5. @oracle I don't have A/C either (except for the car). https://i.imgur.com/l28HtKb.png At work it's similar (also no A/C) but I don't have any thermometers there. It won't be any cooler in the next days. On Monday it'll be 35°C. I guess I'll be going earlier from work to continue sweating at home.

  8. When you 3D print something and one part of the print wasn't modeled as expected and it has to be reprinted. I created a HTC Vive controller holder. The controller fits well but the USB cable holder is misaligned. It has only to be tilted by 5° and it'd have been perfect.

  9. @scribus Maybe that's an idea but when I'll do it I'll skip the issue with the dragon dong. I don't know anymore which issue it was.

  10. Saga, one of my favorite comic series, is taking a year long hiatus. How will I survive this long stretch? There were small hiatuses of 3 months in the past but this is too much to handle.

  12. @oracle I'm not a fan of a standing desk. I was offered one with an electrically adjustable plate but I rejected that. Also if I had one I couldn't use that because the whiteboard is right next to my desk. The whiteboard would interfere when raising the desk. Besides that all the cables are too short.

  13. I'm melting. I had to go earlier from work so my but doesn't fuse with the office chair.

  18. There is a comic I can totally recommend: "Modern Fantasy" from Dark Horse. Imagine a fantasy world but with modern cities. Smartphones are scrolls with interactive images and people still have boring jobs in offices.

  19. Stood for over 45 minutes in a traffic jam 5km away from home because someone drove through the road side rail and flipped over. Even driving off the Autobahn was not possible because the exit before the accident site was jammed.

  23. @scribus I watch occasionally CinemaSins not for the actual thoughtful content. It's mostly for the round of snarkiness I need from time to time, or because the movie already bugged me before.

  27. @spindrift500 It's not of a question of "should" but it's a question of what do you want. EQG is a spinoff of MLP:FiM, so it makes sense to watch MLP:FiM first. Also: You are here because you have seen at least one of them. Just continue watching it and then the other. Simple as that.

  28. @oracle Well... Then I'd say that I prefer C++. It is finicky and hard to understand sometimes but it's the most universal language with tons of library support and has the best template system and supports multi-inheritance. I program mostly with C# and I constantly fall into unsupported language features of C# that I wish it had.

  29. @oracle Programming languages are domain-specific languages that solve their own set of problems in their way. There is not such a thing of best or worst programming language. Some people (especially theoretical computer scientists) swear on functional programming languages because they are constructed match the way the proofs are written.
