Probably Stuck Between Dimensions
(Yes, I know this place is back. No, I don't plan on returning; I just don't fit in with the whole "4chan vibe", as I heard it described recently. Anyway, if anyone wants to keep in touch, catch TryshaGray on Twitter. Otherwise, have fun, and keep it pony.)
Not all ponies miss out on all that Princess Luna has put together for her show after she brings out the moon! Me? I do some of my best work and spell-weaving when the stars come out. Besides, I tend to be the sort to keep to myself, a lot of the time. Lately, I've found I'm a lot more of a "Twilight Sparkle" person, though some still say I have a very "Fluttershy" personality, right down to being more likely to talk to your critter companions than you, at first. It takes me a little while, but if I don't get too badly spooked, I'll open up. And if you see me suddenly pop out of a moon portal, or catch my eye hovering in the sky as I try to find someone or something I've lost again . . . sorry about that. I really try not to startle people too much with this stuff. It's just so cool, though!

@sonicdash Well, we'll know in about two years if I did manage to get it right. That's about how long it's going to get everything in position and rolling, and hopefully starting to bear fruit. And, yes, a Spike would be helpful. For now, my Blackberry and Touchpad will have to suffice. :) Anyway, I do hope that you're getting plenty of rest and fun time there, before you get into your bouts of wild and crazy studying! :D

@sonicdash I've been better, but I'm pulling things back together again. Just wish that I was as good of a planning sort as Twilight. Feeling a little intimidated by some project planning I'm having to do. Been a while. At least I have the more immediate crises in and out of work taken care of. (*knock on wood*) Overall, I'm doing all right. :) How are things looking for you?

@paprika Well, that's really good to know! *pockets some ear plugs, just in case* ;) Though, in truth, I can be a lot louder, too. I just try to stay quiet. Being loud brings more attention than I want.

@zach121k Sadly, I missed it. It's been an exhausting week, so getting up at six in the morning on a Saturday wasn't in my plans. *sheepish smile* And there is still the possibility that more Delta II launches may be ordered. After all, I think that there are still five more unassigned and waiting. That was the last from Cape Canaveral, though.

@ceruleanspark I compiled some data about the build-up to the Tohoku Earthquake, also including data on the Christchurch Earthquake just a few weeks before it. Unfortunately, it's at my desk at work. I'll try to remember to get that to you tomorrow.

@carcino I still peek in, from time to time, as there are some nice folks I try to keep an eye on. Overall, though, I guess that I may have discovered why some people get discouraged and leave: disappointment, when they are reminded that the majority of people here seem to be adolescent boys who are fans of the show because "lol funny poniez" and wondering which ones are the best hot lesbian couples, and not because of they have any relation to, nor understanding of, the lessons that the show tries to teach. Surprising? Not terribly. But very disappointing.

@sonicdash Eh, I'm not sure that will mean much to him, but if it makes him feel better, by all means! :) And I don't think that I'll be doing more than peeking in tonight, if that much. Getting together with my honey for the weekend, and it's the last chance we'll get to for a while, so we'll be trying to make the most of it. :) If all else fails, though, I'm sure that I'll see you another time soon. :)
