  1. Reminiscing today, everything seemed to fall right in place, causality aligning and smiling in both the interactions with old friends and new ones, for me to feel as I did when I was 19 and this site was at its peak. I am genuinely happy to see that some people have vastly improved but not changed, and though regret of the friendship driftage exists, the memory is radiant and positive.
I love everypony here (nohomo), and if you'd like to rekindle broterhood, you all know how to find me. Doubly so for Scribus and Cerulean whom I once called friends, though we have barely talked in years.

  2. Congrats to everyone who survived 2019, and here's hoping 2020 represents two crits in your favor and not the GM's.

  3. Happy new year, to those that remain, and would still be called friends.
May time never erode what was built, the chapter of our lives that we spent together.

In perpetuity you will find a brother in me if that is what you desire.

  6. Maybe I will build a recording booth inside an old trailer, and go on the road hunting narrating gigs via Denny's wifi, then working deep in the Hundred Acre Woods on solar panels.

  7. @drinkingpony I've been digging on the idea of a van and/or a tiny house and just going vagabonding, but I have no real earthly idea of a destination. It's always been my problem. Might as well try university abroad.

  10. It feels so weird to be on SPC with some of the people from here, but half a decade after, all of us old and wise now. But I'm thankful for those connections, and for this place's uncanny ability to bring to light the most interesting people.

Who could have predicted that we'd go from bronies to shamans and wizards.

  12. We understand the lights. We understand the lights above the Arby’s. We understand so much. But the sky behind those lights, mostly void, partially stars, that sky reminds us: We don’t understand even more.

“If tea spread to your country by sea, you call it ‘tea’. If by land, you call it chai.

(*This is because the ports of Fujian and Taiwan use the coastal pronunciation ‘te’, whereas Mandarin uses chá.)”
