@scribus Yes, I know what you mean. Everyone knows someone that will vaguely fit that description. Someone might even tell me that my description is wrong to an extent. Does not matter much though, I just pretty much found a group that identifies themselves as 'crunchies' ( Also modern-day hippies )

So one of my coworkers is busy seeing if she can get Stormtrooper costumes banned from our little halloween party. When I asked her why she told me it was because of Trump.
Coyly I said "Ohh, a 70 year old in a Stormtrooper outfit, I have to see that"
Then she went on a tyrade about how it was his son wearing a Stormtrooper costume and that I am stupid. ( Must not laugh, must not laugh, must not laugh in her face )
Yeah... I am going to keep playing dumb for a while. ( Just FYI, the kid in the costume was one of Ivanka Trump's kids, and they are all named Kushner, I do not know which kid it was tho. Pretty sure the kid would call Donald Trump "grandpa". Mark Hamill did a Tweet-papaya about it which made Mark look like quite the child-hater all because of politics... Damn politics... ) -

Ohhh, it is happening. Well it might has been happening for a long time now so who knows. There is verified evidence now that the so called 'top' of big multinationals, that being multinationals that do some form of reporting or journalism, have been swayed by their own content to believe that THEY are in the 'correct'. That is in a way 'falling for their own propaganda'
Now think of a big old steam engine that is failing to balance its own load. ( Rusty pressure valve readout or something ). It will eventually EXPLODE in a violent fashion.
I'm excited to see that mayhem.
Less so for the inevitable influx of hipsters who go "Yeah that is why I only get my news from small time actual reporters" ... Hey man, you do you, but I still see fanfiction coming out for Babylon 5. That thing has AFAIK not had any new introduction to the official lore ever since 1998, unless if you count the movie then it is 2002. -

One of my distant friends is showing off his Overwatch logo'd wear everywhere ( Backpack, Sweater, pants, bracelet, truckerhat, probably underwear at this point ) while being aware of the whole ordeal regarding Chung Ng Wai. Meanwhile claiming that you should be able to seperate the things you love from the people who made it. While I agree fully, I can not help but to have 2 thoughts cross my mind.
1 : Is he dense or a genius ?

The laptop I was going to use to properly use ( learn by using ) Linux on has a full hard drive and I am like 99.9% sure the propblem lies with Ubuntu's desire to create some sort of swap file on EXT1 for Gnome to start so the whole boot process halts indefinitely.
Any wise words like "Go back to a proper Distro" for me ?
