  1. @ceruleanspark *headtilt* I'm taking a dance class… we're doing a lot of leg and core workouts. My legs don't normally get sore after years of water polo and swimming.

  2. My legs are actually really sore… this is a new experience for me.

  3. @pony I'm sorry :/ *hugs*

  6. @mrdragon Very true. I'm gonna try real hard to get a better job while I'm on summer "break" (still taking a class, but it's not academic class)

  7. @woona There's some pretty cool people outside of the States, though. I can't get to them anytime soon...

Friday, 22-Jun-12 11:11:05 UTC from web in context
  8. @mrdragon lol That is helpful

  9. @woona Except I'm in California and he's in Texas. I keep trying to get Foxgopher to come out to California, but he doesn't want to pay non-resident fees for school, which is understandable. That's one reason why I'm (probably) not moving out of California any time soon

  10. @mrdragon *sighs* It sucks… *hugs*

  11. @woona @mrdragon Yeah, I couldn't afford it, even then. Not that I really have anyone to live with…

  12. @mrdragon Good. Crap. Q.Q

Friday, 22-Jun-12 11:04:24 UTC from web in context
  13. @mrdragon That sucks. I've got the problem of too many well qualified people who just need a damn job to compete with. Why hire someone with no education that you'll have to train, when you can hire someone who already knows how to do the job and is willing to do it for half price because they just need a paycheck?

  14. @mrdragon @woona I'm nearly 25 and still living with my parents. California is ridiculously expensive

  15. @mrdragon Oh, noes :( Yeah, Scribus got laid off from here and is still having a heck of a time finding a job. And I had a friend who was out of work for around two years after being laid off. Times are tough everywhere, I think.

  16. Man, my work really didn't think much into their abbreviation for the "Waiting for Ad Control" state...

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:57:30 UTC from web
  17. @mrdragon lol Nice. I'd like to do that here, but I'm mostly just waiting for them to lay me off and give me a severance package.

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:56:26 UTC from web in context
  18. @mrdragon Yeah, that's always crap. I'm sorry *hugs*

  19. @hakupony @woona There's some Renaissance Faires out here, but I don't know if any of them have those

  20. @mrdragon This company is slowly dying, I doubt I'd get the chance to be promoted, even if I wanted it.

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:52:44 UTC from web in context
  21. @hakupony Yeah, but that's how anyone with half a brain would do it. Our company isn't really known for putting people with brains in charge

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:51:04 UTC from web in context
  22. @woona Come to Cali and you can have it.

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:50:08 UTC from web in context
  23. @hakupony @woona OH, THAT IS FANTASTIC!

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:49:58 UTC from web in context
  24. @woona Yeah, we are, a bit =^.^= He lives about halfway across the continent, though...

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:49:13 UTC from web in context
  25. @hakupony Even better :3

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:48:06 UTC from web in context
  26. @hakupony Yeah, quite :/ Today I have to be back at 15:00 for a department wide meeting, during which the manager is going to ask us to try to help him figure out how he can best cut costs to save the company money, then I might have to be back at 23:00 for my normal shift...

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:47:35 UTC from web in context
  27. @woona You want mine?

Friday, 22-Jun-12 10:45:53 UTC from web in context
  28. @hakupony @woona I've got nothing against this idea. Might wanna run it by Noirbatch first, though...

  29. @woona @hakupony I work 23:00 to either 5:00 or 7:00, depending on the day. Tonight's one of my short nights since I've got no work to do ever.

  30. @hakupony Oh, that is very true =^.^= I love hot baths… hot showers, too…
