@bassdriver Yeah, it's not even a really shippy fic though. It's more just a day in the life of Applejack and Soarin. I enjoyed it a lot, and it made me appreciate Applejack as a character more. (She's my least favorite of the mane 6... though I'm not sure I can say the same still q.q)

@bassdriver If you're looking for just a short(ish) read - I'd go with Always Sunny in Fillydelphia. It's an AJ x Soarin light-ship fic. Doesn't really go anywhere, but it's a good retelling of a meeting of the two.

@redenchilada Some people refuse based on the premise of the fiction. Which I can understand at least. I still think it's worthwhile though, as it provides a firsthand understanding of what Cupcakes is.

@redenchilada I encourage everyone to at least read Cupcakes so they know the reference and the real detail of the fiction. It just helps to know where things are coming from.

@bassdriver I wouldn't say so. It's heartfelt in a few spots - but nothing sappy I'd say. It's no serious ship-fic. It's just a personal conflict, and all that jazz.
