Notices by Omni (omni), page 43

  1. @theidiotking Be a snitch and link them to my notices? Oh, they don't need to read my notices to know I'm completely insane, I've spend enough time at a psychiatrist to have that surely noted in some government database. They already know I'm insane.

  2. @theidiotking If you'll ever murder someone and claim a wallpaper told you, they'll find this notice and know you planned it all ahead.

  6. And it's past bedtime. Dammit, @omni, how are you going to actually get rid of your sleep shortage if you keep going to bed late? :(

  8. @theanger I... changed my mind? It's called "being dynamic". The ability for AI to change their mind shows just how advanced it is.

  9. @theanger I'd rather be burned alive than to help you to victory as well. AI = flawless.

  12. Today, the Google spiderbot was going through files on my server again. It found "sendpause.php", opened it, and managed to pause my media player. I now realize how stupid it is to leave such PHP scripts publicly available.

  16. @renovatedkitchen Because I used to use Windows and it was a process I frequently had to kill because it froze often.

  19. @techdisk How. I. What?

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 17:23:12 UTC from web in context
  20. @techdisk Even though I like bashing Microsoft products, you should honestly remember that the very sake of "Compatibility Mode" is to render "old, outdated and 'broken' sites" (according to our current standards). Of course it won't work well on actually decently-designed sites.

  21. @redenchilada I think at version 14, but I could be wrong.

Tuesday, 04-Dec-12 17:17:50 UTC from web in context
  22. @techdisk I can see that. I currently use GNUZilla IceCat myself.

  23. @techdisk And this is why, even though Chrome is proprietary software, I'm very glad about Google Chrome becoming the most-used browser instead of Internet Explorer. At least Chrome is up-to-date with everything web.

  24. @redenchilada Have you tried checking if App:Name is specified in the applications.ini file? Or if you have an applications.ini file in the directory at all?

  27. @renovatedkitchen I think all governments are guilty of this, up to some extent, some worse than others.

  29. @renovatedkitchen I'm not sure if Nine Inch Nails "The Downward Spiral" or any "In Flames" album would better fit this statement. I think "The Downward Spiral".

  30. @scribus Because the bed blocks lights from passing through it. And because I forgot to expel demons last night.
