@redenchilada oh yeah I forgot about those. I feel like the maps in FR/LG would be too big for me to properly recreate in RPG Maker since as far as I know I can't replicate that method of segmenting whole areas

@redenchilada Well, yeah, but I dunno if the game would be responsive enough at 24fps. The South Park game tried doing it at 24FPS but it just didn't play right so they had to bump it up to 30.

@redenchilada And how would player character customization and NPC generation work there? The only way I can think of is exporting animations for each base, then putting the customization objects like hairstyles and stuff on a separate layer and exporting animations corresponding with the bases.

@redenchilada I think voice actors, when present, are an underrated facet of game design. Armin Shimerman's performance in Bioshock did wonders elevating Andrew Ryan's character.
