Does anypony know why I can't use RainbowDash.net through Gwibber or Mustard anymore?
-
@tenmihara Delicious Banner. :O

@999wana I wasn't really trying to start a discussion so much as stating that I just had one. Anywho. Your claim is fallacy. People who have faith in a belief they aren't willing to see challenged do no favors for anyone persuing knowledge or progress. This in mind, one holding any particular belief is not held back from looking into other views of life. One who maintains their beliefs in face of daunting and persuasive beleifs that may clash with that that they hold are ideally those who do so with more strength than others and would have more perspective, not less.

@mushi Yeah, I'll admit, I think that's pretty cool.
-
@redenchilada Pretty much.

Also, holy crap, didn't expect to be in a Drawfriend. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/10/drawfriend-stuff-221.html That is pretty fun. Thanks, @colfax

What I meant with that last post wasn't what I wrote. I meant: "Philosophical discussion on religion and Perfect Friendship. Are my professors googling my name!?"

Philosophical discussion on religion and Perfect Friendship? Are my professors googling my name.
-
@redenchilada I'm currently tired of drawing ponies, rather.
-
... :< I explained why I was getting tired of drawing pony and foal fiddlery. My client ate it. Will not retype.

<General> Tiny Marshmallow Firecry_Sundae says, "If you want a fic idea, here you go: Young AJ goes to Manehattan, having live a straightforward life of straightforward honesty with her family and classmates. She gets to Manehattan, and not only adjust to a different social structure, pressures to conform, pressures to lie to get ahead, and just new experiences swamp her, which leads to the bed scene we saw. Over the course of some days, we becomes increasing and increasingly resentful of the differences based on the principles of honesty, in that she's not free to be herself if she wants to be considered acceptable, and this is what leads her to making her way back home." #fic #idea #scrap #freetodowhateveryouwantwith

@scribusmyers It's an alright game. Played it for about half an hour or so.
-
@zach121k Probably not. But the fact that you're interpreting something I hadn't even considered is indication that I probably could have polished it a bit more than I did.

!balloons !art I fixed it up better this time. #PRINCESSLOONA http://fav.me/d4dc7o9 #popcorn

Anypony know offhand if Celestia, Luna, or Nightmare Moon ever cast a spell onscreen that involved hornglow? It's for a picture.
-
@ceruleanspark Nope, not generally. But they are still squishy, which is still kinda neat for the whole squishy-fun type silliness. In drawings though, the way objects filled with water and objects filled with air isn't too drastically different. So it kinda depends on the picture and artist on how I respond to that?
-
@ceruleanspark I used to be phobic. Couldn't deal with balloons at all without flipping out in rage and sadness and generally becoming a nuisance. Eventually, when that became such of an issue that I jumped out of a window, I started consulting the Internet and buying my own balloons to counter those reactions. And it kinda just flipped-over. Turns out there's a thin line between fear and excitement. | For me in particular, it's largely the sounds and anticipation that make it exhilarating, interesting, and curious. Visually, it's fun too to watch others having fun with them, or just to see neat balloons. There's tactile in there too- few physical objects we have can squish or make that shift from soft to solid with applied pressure like balloons tend to. | Anticipation of popping. (Burst not required.) I don't care for sharp things, or popping with sharp things. I adore the idea of squishing something until it explodes being treated as fun instead of wrong/punishment like in games..
-
@ceruleanspark Ask away. :3 Unless you just wanted me to ramble about my personal interests and not a vaguely half-fair overview of how it goes for different people in general.
-
@jinny :D Yay, Intrigue!
-
@jinny No worries. XD It's something I'm fairly used to getting, and I do joke about it. And like I said, there is some overlap at times. It's just that what people focus on when drawing inflationy type things is generally pretty focus on what I draw things. The result's only marginally different to people who aren't into either, I'd imagine.
-
@ceruleanspark Which one? Inflation, or balloons? Because only one of which is one I really grok, even if there's some overlap between the two. If you want me to answer things, I'm cool with that. Though depending on what kind of question you're asking, we may want to take it to PMs or Email.
