  5. Well that's it for today, I think. I'm off to watch Youtube videos in bed. Here, have some Nightmare Night. http://pny.lv/3gal

  6. @l1ghtsword Lol, I'll probably finish the entire song minus vocals by then. Night!

  7. @l1ghtsword Yeah, I have it, but i have only ever used it for editing MIDI files. No idea how to do anything else with it. It's the free version.

  8. @l1ghtsword "By hand" means I would have FL Studio open in one monitor, Famitracker open in the other, and I would just scroll along and copy the notes into Famitracker.

  9. @l1ghtsword well, just to warn you before you start doing a bunch of work, all that I need is some form of note plot of the vocal track. Whether it is written with notes on a staff or as a MIDI file, All I need is a string of notes that match up with the vocals. Adding anything such as note bending, volume, instruments, VSTs, or whatever is honestly a waste of time because it would all be ignored.

  10. @l1ghtsword If you actually sent me a single midi track of the vocals, it would be useful. However, I would simply be copying it into Famitracker by hand only using the individual notes as refrences. I can't import MIDI files into Famitracker, and, again, just because it's a square, triangle, or sawtooth wave doesn't mean that it's automatically compatible with an NES.

  11. @l1ghtsword Nope. This one smells like syrup. They all do.

Friday, 25-Jul-14 01:22:31 UTC from web in context
  12. @l1ghtsword But it LITERALLY ads more channels than an NES can handle.

  13. @l1ghtsword ... uhhh where have you been the past year? http://pny.lv/3gde

Friday, 25-Jul-14 01:20:22 UTC from web in context
  14. @l1ghtsword nope. And I'm not using anything but Famitracker. Anything else is literally cheating.

Friday, 25-Jul-14 01:19:07 UTC from web in context
  15. @l1ghtsword But yeah, you're right. It's probably because I haven't added vocals in because those are hard.

  16. @metaltao And we replaced it with plastic bills that smell like maple syrup.

Friday, 25-Jul-14 01:15:59 UTC from web in context
  17. @l1ghtsword No can do. I have matched the tempo perfectly to the original song. I like to keep my covers as true to the original as possible, and that includes tempo. :P

  21. @techdisk In fact, the "D-#" is the sound of a closed Hi-hat.

Thursday, 24-Jul-14 22:24:46 UTC from web in context
  22. @northernnarwhal That's the noise channel. It's not actually the "D" note. :P
