let me drop this here and go back into hiding... I could still use a bit of help if anyone is still willing and able to give it, a job didn't happen like I'd hoped, I'm way behind on a bill or two, been living on ramen for a month or so here, and I did something really stupid that took my hand out of commission for a while... so yeah, that pretty much sums up things so far.

@mrmattimation Because it's never, to my mind, been black and white between "good users" and "bad". I won't deny that sometimes you cause trouble, because that'd be a patronising lie, but, I feel that your non-troublemaking posts outweigh any occasional outbursts of temper or depression you might have, so your net contribution to the community remains positive. You are trying to "be better", so punishing you for not immediately being perfect would be self destructive and short sighted.

@snowcone I wasn't talking specifically about that, but yeah, I'm against that. I'd rather institute a new type of civic union and change adoption laws than change marriage laws. In practice it'd give the same liberties, while it wouldn't anger people who are against it.
