Probably Stuck Between Dimensions
(Yes, I know this place is back. No, I don't plan on returning; I just don't fit in with the whole "4chan vibe", as I heard it described recently. Anyway, if anyone wants to keep in touch, catch TryshaGray on Twitter. Otherwise, have fun, and keep it pony.)
Not all ponies miss out on all that Princess Luna has put together for her show after she brings out the moon! Me? I do some of my best work and spell-weaving when the stars come out. Besides, I tend to be the sort to keep to myself, a lot of the time. Lately, I've found I'm a lot more of a "Twilight Sparkle" person, though some still say I have a very "Fluttershy" personality, right down to being more likely to talk to your critter companions than you, at first. It takes me a little while, but if I don't get too badly spooked, I'll open up. And if you see me suddenly pop out of a moon portal, or catch my eye hovering in the sky as I try to find someone or something I've lost again . . . sorry about that. I really try not to startle people too much with this stuff. It's just so cool, though!

@mrdragon Eek! Yes, either that, or someone is giving you hits of propofol or something, when you're not looking. But my gut says that your body and mind are trying to tell you something, there.
-
@mrdragon Den?! "Passing out" as in going right back to sleep, or as involuntarily blacking out? The former wouldn't be entirely unexpected, what with your stated sleep schedule troubles. The latter, on the other hand, is cause for concern. :( Anyway, I'm glad that your day is, otherwise, going reasonably well. :)
-
@mrdragon Hello, there! :) Things are actually going pretty well so far today. Overall, though, yes, same old. And how is everything there?
-
@ceruleanspark This is probably the most rational and productive policy involving I.T. -- heck, perhaps anywhere -- to come out of any corporate setting in a long time. I think that I will work to implement it here.
-
@ceruleanspark Thank you! And hang in there. :)
-
@scribusthehomicidalmaniac I think that I'm heading that way now, myself. Pleasant dreams!
-
@ceruleanspark Eep! Well, that could certainly make the class a bit more, errr, interesting.
-
@ceruleanspark Actually, I tend to be the same. Bleh! Well, spring water is good for you. And RDN, well . . . As they say, YMMV. :)
-
@ceruleanspark Ugh! Definitely a good thing you have your iPad with you to get you through it this time. Hopefully you have some good coffee or something as well. :p
-
@ceruleanspark Ahhh. Traveling for work?
-
@ceruleanspark Ah, sounds nice! I keep my phone with me almost always, and that can get me on here. Don't often have times to look at it, though. Sounds like a quiet trip out, then, if you're going to be nosing in on there often while you're out and about?
-
@ceruleanspark Hello, there! Tired, and heading toward bed, but trying to wrap a few things up, so thought I'd peek in here. Sounds like you're out and about today . . . ?
-
@scribusthehomicidalmaniac Yay, here's hoping all goes well! :) I really need to try to peek in there more often. !EqDawn
-
@cabal Yay, @purpletinker! You can do it! *gets all cheerleadery and stuff* :)
-
@ceruleanspark Good night, and pony dreams! :)
-
@leonkfox Well, that was really darned nice of her! :) Hopefully, she doesn't keep doing that when you get to point where you're trying to forget that your birthday is coming up, or is here. ;)
-
@communistprime Woohoo! Very glad that you're out of Afghanistan. :) Hope all goes well, and you're back on your way the rest of the way home soon. :)
-
@fluttershy321 Aw, thank you! :) And likewise.
-
@mrdragon Oh, yes, that it definitely does. As for me, yes, I plan on it. I'm too darned stubborn to stop. :)
-
@mrdragon Yes, definitely keeping me busy, here, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. And I do hope that your job situation improves soon! If nothing else, so you can rest and relax a little better. ;)
-
@ceruleanspark EEK! Yes, definitely, a bad case of withdrawals beats death, to heck with medical interests. Glad they did get you on another SSRI to help soften the blow, and I hope this one doesn't react so negatively on you. I hope that the bad stuff from the switch subsides quickly for you.
-
@zach121k Eep! Well, I hope that you can get some rest soon, then. :)
-
@mrdragon Well, I'm about to break for lunch, actually. Been a busy morning of pulling facts together, documenting, planning and coordinating, and there will be more of it after I'm done with lunch, so we'll be ready to hit the road running tomorrow, and the sheriff deputies and sergeants that I'll be dealing with won't be any more grumpy and impatient than they usually are. :D As for your sleep, yes, unfortunately, I know that feeling of never quite sleeping right, and rather low energy, all too well. Well, I hope things aren't being too demanding on you, there, so you can take it easy, and try to recharge a little.
-
@ceruleanspark Ew! Dentist visits are no fun. Unfortunately, the alternative is even worse. (Going to have to visit one soon, myself, I'm afraid.) And you're going through withdrawals from prescribed medication? Yikes! Kind of surprised that they didn't at least wean you off a bit first. I hope that the doctor at least gave you something to help deal with the symptoms. Withdrawal can be nasty business. As for the dream Luna, well, I suppose that we'll find out soon enough, with the episode coming out this weekend. It sure felt like how she'd really be like, though.
-
@citrusrain That could easily be. And I wouldn't mind at all if it resumed tonight! :D (Unfortunately, the only time that happens for me is premonitions, and those tend to repeat from different perspectives rather than resume, and I highly doubt that me having a bonding conversation with Princess Luna is a vision of something that's really going to happen in my future. ;) ) Ah, well. Though it's frustrating to wake up from something like that, I won't complain that I had it, and that it's sticking with me. :)
-
@mrdragon Aw, sorry to hear that you haven't had proper dreams for a long time. I've had long runs like that, where I have just nothing. Then again, there are times when that's a good thing, too, as I get some really nasty vivid nightmares as well, and enough of them have turned out to be premonitory that they really rattle me. So, sometimes, no dreams is a good thing. :) But, anyway, how are you doing there this evening?
-
@ceruleanspark Hey, Cerulean! Eh, I'm managing. Dealing with frustration at work here, but I'm making headway, so hopefully I'll be feeling productive by the end of the day. :) How are you doing today?
-
@citrusrain @leonkfox It really was pretty amazing, I have to say. Frustrating to wake up from, but warm and fuzzy to think back on. This one is being slow to fade, too, so I'm happy about that. :)
-
@seanthesheep Ha! Very true! Some people aren't so fortunate. :)
