Apparently, Pinkie Pie is now breaking the FIFTH wall. Not only is she breaking into our universe, but she has broken into Google's security systems. Not even joking here. She is gaining power; whether that be good or bad I know not. (NOT alluding to any fanon!)

I'm really in a quandary right now. See, I really want to learn how to make a 2D game. I know C++ (only console), Java (some console, mostly Swing, and a little bit of Applets), and I'm studying Objective-C for iPhone programming. I know many games are made with Flash and ActionScript. How hard is it to learn? Really, I think Flash is a good platform, but before I study anything too in depth, I'd really like to know what is the best choice. C++? Java? Flash? I have many ideas for 2D games, but I think I should consider my options instead of running in blindly. I have seriously pondered over this for a while, yet I cannot reach a conclusion. What language is the best/most powerful? Also, would you recommend a game engine or not? I have heard that they make it much easier, but they also limit you don't they? I see really amazing games like And Yet it Moves, Story of the Blanks, etc, and I really want to do something like that. I know it's very hard, but I think I can if I try hard enough

I'm going to start a group (not on RDN, that's done already) like the Humble Brony Bundle, where we can all donate collectively in the name of bronies everywhere. We can PROVE to the media that we're not "man-babies" or "brownies," and I believe we can make a difference. For !KONY !

@purpletinker Guys, I am currently in a funk here. Rainbowdash.net's 1st birthday is approaching (April 4), and it appears that ponies are leaving, and simply not staying with us because this site gets old pretty quick. I am considering options on how to give our site a make over... but I don't know what you guys want in a social networking site for bronies! If you have suggestions, let me know... or we are not going to invest any more money, time or effort in keeping this place alive. @ceruleanspark Perhaps you should set up a dedicated ad fund pool. And as the fund keeps growing you keep using the current amount to try bidding on a spot on Derpibooru/etc. DB uses a bid system now a days. Just a food for thought.
