Had a dream today that @scribus, @nerthos, and I were waging war on... something... I can't quite remember all the things, but I know Nerthos was making us armor out of some weird sort of jelly-looking substance which was stronger than steel and, for whatever reason, needed 1/8 oz mercury in it and to be made by the wearer to be effective. Brain, what?

@tenebarius I think my view is possibly colored by the fact that I was suicidal at a very young age, and for quite a long time. I don't really feel that there's anything to fear in dying, and I believe in a cyclical time structure, with rests inbetween lives, so I don't fear losing people either. I'll see them again, they just need to rest now.

@tenebarius Yeah, that's my take on it, too lol And, generally, I believe that it's better for one's suffering to end, than to keep on living in pain (serious physical trauma victims, cancer paitents, etc.).

@nerthos Can I weigh in as a decent acquaintance of yours, and as someone who has almost been raped, that it does bother me to see it being talked of so lightly. I understand that there was no malice intended, and you probably didn't mean to be making light of it like that, but it is still a bit bothersome.
