I'm going to be honest. When I look at this place? I see apples. Definitely. But that only makes up a very, very, very small amount of us. I'm one of them. The rest of us are just regular people with regular problems who just happen to complain a lot. But a variety of things recently, namely Colfax's current situation and the events of tonight, show that a lot of you are good people. Great people. This community can come together for great purposes. And we all recognize the bad in us. I think a lot of us need to learn that we do good things too. I'm trying to do that for myself. It's difficult to find something that makes me a good person, but I'll find it eventually. The rest of you? Try to have a little more hope that one day, things will get better. Because they will. Good things come to good people.

Mods will never work in this place, no matter what they do or how they do it. The community always has it out for them, mods don't last long here and most just flat out left the community because being a mod here was a problem. Why? Because the rules got tighter, they got tighter for no damn reason in some places. Something I regret doing. The sites were perfectly fine the way they were, with one general rules which was done be an idiot or an a-hole. Then I happened to get mod, then I got admin, then I go ownership. Then mods were no longer mods, they were mistreated induviduals for several months. I ran away like a child and things never changed, the worst thing of all is this communities lack of wanting to move forward. The SINGLE moment anything is changed, even if it's so god damn small, the place erupts. People leave, people argue/flame/troll and everything goes up in flames. Don't just blame the mods for being the way they are, half the time it's us users too.

I think a happy community openly acknowledges its trials and sufferings as well as its joy and successes.
