@colfax Not enough to matter, I fear. I think a lot of current Bernie Sanders supporters either a) won't vote, b) write-in Sanders anyway and totally waste their vote, or c) vote Trump if Hillary gets nominated.

@scribus Admittedly the Spanish monarchy is much more reasonable than other houses. The King was an important part of the return to democracy after Francisco Franco, and they don't make use of any weird privileges other than the King (and he alone, it doesn't extend to his family) being excent from the law, which in practice is a privilege never used. Even if you get a nobiliary title, you don't get many benefits other than joining exclusive social events. I just think "sir", "lord", "count", "don" or whatever sounds much better than "mr." "doctor" or whatever.
