I should probably avoid installing games on the penguin OS since its dedicated partition is only 40GB lol
-
http://pny.lv/018kb I got whirl rekky in the first level of some Potato Knishesty indie game and I've only been playing for 23 minutes :^)

I don't like being at work without doing useful things but I didn't wanna start something new since we're starting new planning practices next week that would just complicate everything if I had something just barely started for it

Man, the middle button on this mouse is so inexcusably garbage. It's a blight on an otherwise pretty good mouse, too. :(
-
@tiffany It's not my fault your keyboard sucks
-
@taknamay Shoosh
-
@tiffany \ and / are directory separators you moron
-
@tiffany But symmetry means you'd put < on the left and > on the right if you're gonna be consistent with \ and /
-
@tiffany Why is < on the right side then you inconsistent Brits
-
` doesn't count because the number keys it's attached to all have symbols on them

@tiffany Consistent like putting a lone symbol key in a corner far away from all other symbols
-
@skellythos Z is right next to shift on US keyboards.
-
*googles UK keyboard* \ is down next to Z I'm so lost
-
Where is the keypis
-

@mrmattimation what about pooing
-
@onetimepad The problem with that is I always hibernate Windows instead of shutting down. I'm wondering now if maybe it's possible to make a partition that can be mounted/unmounted at will in Windows somehow so I can just only have it mounted when I need to move files to/from mint.
-
@skellythos I believe it's not the space it's using (it's only used 40GB so far) so much as how the files are laid out in the partition making it impossible to shrink it without losing them. It wouldn't have worked out anyway cus hibernating Windows stops me from accessing whatever it's mounted in Mint anyway :(
-
I tried to move /home to a separate partition post-install and failed spectacularly at it so I think I'll just worry about it later. I'm tired now anyway

@skellythos 1TB
-
Damnit, I can't shrink the Windows partition to lower than 400GB. Okay, backup plan; just make a smaller (~100GB) partition for files to share between OSes. I'm not gonna need to share much anyway
-
lmao, Thunderbird blocks images from Firefox emails

@l1ghtsword How about 80GB then so I'll have plenty of room
-
If I wanna keep a files partition accessible to both OSes and put as much as I can on that, what would be the best size to leave the Windows partition at?
