!vgp I finally sat down and replayed Sonic Heroes as Team Rose. The game doesn't live up to my memories at all. The *music* is still nice, though. <3 And I still think the game looks OK for what it sets out to achieve.

@takeshitakenji The Game Gear games drove me crazy with a tendency to have no rings in the last act.

@leonkfox Giving games a number rating is kinda goofy in general, since even with objective scores, people would easily forgive something lacking polish if it happened to be gameplay or theme they enjoyed a lot. As I always say when people talk about giving things a score/tier rating, I think it's generally much more effective to give game recommendations based on what they are similar to. People who like platformers like Mario, or people who like racing games and action games might get a pretty big kick out of Generations in general from what I've seen. (That said, I do not own it and have not yet compelted it.)

@redenchilada As a person who still regularly plays Sonic Adventure and prefers it to most of the other games, I think the parts that shine shine about as much as they used to. And the parts that don't still don't. That said. I still have no idea why they picked Speed Highway. Out of all the crazy levels in that game.
