I mean seriously, what about Cheese, Goofy, Donald Duck, Cosmo, etc.? THEY NEVER got removed. No one EVER complained. And how can they say Derpy is mentally disabled and Cheese isn't??? I think as a fandom, we take things WAYYY too far. Examples? Sure. Berry Punch. Drank out of a bowl, call her a drunk pony. Rainbow Dash. Tomboy, has rainbow, call her lesbian. Derpy Hooves. Has cross-eye, call her mentally handicapped. OR the fact that she said "Muffins," and now she's a huge muffin fan. Also with Molestia/Trollestia/Tyrant Celestia. I mean COME ON. This goes on way too far!

@ceruleanspark no kidding, but im saying this is just going to cause more problems for them, the fandom is what made this show so popular, changing it and then not saying why is going to make people upset...maybe enough to not watch the show anymore

@macpony55 Gah, I just wish nobody would have complained to begin with. THEY'RE the ones who started the whole problem. Hasbro does us a favor, and then they start to complain and papayas about it like five year-olds. I just wish nobody would have complained, and we wouldn't be in this mess. It would also be nice to hear an official report from Hasbro as to why they did it, as all we can work off of right now is stupid rumors floating around and angry people supporting/hating on the cause.

Hasbro did this to be nice to us and now we're acting like we can boss them around, this whole thing is costing them thousands if not more from lawsuits and whatever else is going on. They're gonna think twice before doing something for our fandom next time. And all this discussion about it isn't going to change the outcome, you can say save Derpy or don't it's just a waste of time, Hasbro is gonna make the call, our opinion's will be the last one's they care about given the current treatment we're giving them all because they were nice of us to put Derpy on in the first place.

@thephilosophicalbrony You know, instead of spamming them, you could say "we're sorry for sending so many mails, would it be okay to like, send a mail once a week or so with petition status and how many signatures we have?" or something similar so you're saying what you want WITHOUT harassing them

@thatonepony Just pointing this out, and I don't intend to start another war if you don't, but when I posted my link, you didn't simply say "Well I wish people would just stop obsessing over it" or "Dude stop this please, it is getting out of hand." No. You posted "You make me sad," which is offensive, I don't care what you say. So it wasn't simply a difference of opinion, it was an insult that I took offensive. I'm not used to trolls on here, as it seems you, carcino, and a few others are the only ones. Most of us here are in it for the love and toleration, brah.
