  1. @mrmattimation What specs do you have? Processor is far more important than graphics card in emulation.

  2. @redenchilada The PS2 emulators make games look incredible.
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix in English at ten times the internal resolution looks like the recent remakes they did.

  3. Fruit?

  4. @nerthos The PSX version is better as far as visuals and controls. If you get Pete's OpenGL2 plugin you can apply all sorts of filters and make it look fantastic.

  5. @northernnarwhal That is a great picture of Sue

  6. @nerthos Aww.
It was programmed to be undodgeable on hard mode but there are ways to handle it.
You receive a "P" for pass. You can't win chess against somebody who does not know how to play.

  7. @nerthos We should just give Megaman to Nintendo

  8. @nerthos TEST OF CHARACTER:
How do you usually dodge Juno's second stage ultra move on hard mode (room turns red, giant lasers fall from the sky)?
Your answer will determine your fate.

  9. @nerthos It would have been better if they hadn't announced it in the first place. I'm still upset.

  10. @northernnarwhal I'm more of a platformer guy- top down just doesn't process for me correctly. I'll do really well with games like Dawn of Sorrow or Cave Story but give me Torchlight 2 and I'm like a dead gopher lying face down on the keyboard.

Tuesday, 19-Aug-14 05:31:37 UTC from web in context
  11. @northernnarwhal That should probably be up there, but I'm usually poor at top-down games like that. I couldn't handle Diablo 2 either.

  12. @nerthos Megaman Trigger IS best Megaman but he died on the moon.

  13. @northernnarwhal Tales of Phantasia, Castlevania IV, Seiken Densetsu 3, Super Metriod, Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country 2, and Kirby Superstar are on there for me too. Chrono Trigger is definitely my favorite SNES game though.

  14. @northernnarwhal The entire X series was really great, excluding 7.

  15. @northernnarwhal Castlevania X's was really good too - Dance of the Holy Man, Richter.

  16. Riolu is best pony.

  17. @redenchilada That's rather Farfetch'd, don't you think?

  18. @skellietta There's a confirmed Gen3 remake

  19. @scribus Alright, if you must =P

  20. @northernnarwhal The very best solo I've ever played was when I watched a little kid get up from being bored and got really excited that I was playing something he liked. His energy fueled me and everybody told me it was the best solo they'd ever heard.

  21. @coltz That is true- I believe the second, third, and fourth generations are probably the most creative.

Tuesday, 19-Aug-14 05:11:41 UTC from web in context
  22. @scribus You don't need to play those to play the second.

  23. @theyurityphoon It's much easier to create a competitive team and Battle Maison is a great deal of fun.

Tuesday, 19-Aug-14 05:10:56 UTC from web in context
  24. @northernnarwhal Yeah. The games were fantastic but the pokemon themselves are kind of lackluster.

  25. @northernnarwhal Performing is the best rush in the world, isn't it?

  26. @redenchilada X/Y Endgame is really, really good.

Tuesday, 19-Aug-14 05:09:09 UTC from web in context
  27. @northernnarwhal I tend to love certain pokemon in certain generations, like Dewott and Infernape. 5th Gen is probably the least creative but Black2/White2 were super good. 6th Gen wasn't as good as 2-3 but the games are the best.

Tuesday, 19-Aug-14 05:08:35 UTC from web in context
  28. @redenchilada X and Y fixed most of the problems the old generations had:
    -Pokemon scaling
    -EV Training
    -Online systems
    -Transporting methods

X and Y were great works and I really appreciate what they did.

  29. @northernnarwhal What is your favorite and least favorite?

Tuesday, 19-Aug-14 05:05:29 UTC from web in context
  30. @northernnarwhal Primarily saxophone, but I can play piano and most general percussion instruments. I used to play FHorn and most brass, as well as most woodwinds but as I no longer have access to those my chops aren't really that great anymore.
