@renovatedkitchen I heard convertibles were slighty inferior to coupes because of the lowered rigidity due to the lack of roof... but, then again, I heard this literally from a walkthrough to an old Need For Speed game, so i'm taking that with a grain of salt.

@vt3c Linux makes usually mediocre systems fly. Then again, so does a clean install of Windows 98, but that's just my experience.

Current status on installing Windows 98 to my old laptop: 100% SUCCESS! Compaq even still has all the original drivers availible to download, which means I can use the correct screen resolution of 800x600.
