@tiffany Netflix has assumed that because I watched an anime once on it that it should recommend me basically its entire catalog of anime, even if the shows it's recommending to me are nothing similar to anything I've previously watched.

I am not at all a fan of the Final Fantasy series, but Final Fantasy XV looks pretty alright.

@mrmattimation From what I've seem it may end up being the first main series Final Fantasy game in a long time to be actually good, which is worth looking forward to. I'd consider myself a fan of the series, but all my favourite installments in it are from the 90s and early 00s.

@awl I've actually read all of the manga too, with which I have many of the same issues (though it comes with the added benefit of not having Tetsuro Araki's vociferously noisy directing) but it too is enjoyable for the most part and Takeshi Obata's art is great.

I was unbelievably excited for Despera when it was first announced (both because of the all star production credits and the really neat premise), and I hope one day it sees the light of day given that there's supposedly been a new director brought on board to helm the project (though we haven't had any bit of news regarding it in around a year and a half).
