@mrdragon Arma 3 Alpha was a lot worse verses Arma 3 now. I used to get around 20 FPS with everything on standard. At launch when it was in the 50s with the same hardware and settings.

@datpolishguy Even the finished game is just horrible. Their Altis map is unoptimized like mad, if you go on a decent Multiplayer game, think Wastelands, warfare and so forth. Your system will just get shredded to hell. It's the one thing that reviewers state is letting the game down right now.

@ceruleanspark Be a while yet, we are in the process of just judging what the ads are bringing in. Seeing where and what we can go for. Then we'll pounce and such, we are currently also in the process of making our own IM software for the site to replace the kiwity one we have right now. It's too unoptimized, out of place and just.. honestly it's crap. So we are making our own. The new devs we've hired are being tested in it and seeing where the team work is coming in, give em a run through and such.

@ceruleanspark Gotta love ole googly eyes there huh. I'm keeping mine well under control as much as I possibly can that's for sure. After all, it levies the £175 a month bill for me, which means that's all for me to spend on myself now.

Sign ups are open for the 42 Night on February 1st, 2014. Depending on awareness, we may do on-site signups again if the Google Doc is not being used. Sorry about there being no FB event to let everyone know it was this weekend. Great turnout regardless though. We may be doing Steel Battalion stuff at February's 42 night too, so save the date!

I find it funny how when the next gen systems were announced (i don't remember where) some guy was bragging about how the PS4 was better since you didn't need to pay to play online. @ceruleanspark Tried that, still get that or a 502 when posting. Always have done since we took it over all that time ago and introduced the real time posting as standard. And my expences are covered as well, but being able to make anywhere from 300-400£ means there's a lot of lee-way. We can afford a lot of things saved up for in a rainy day
