@sprite Well I'm not too certain, mostly the material was mostly placed onto me ever since I was a little pup in military training, All I can say is that it can take a tank blast to the chest without denting and mostly has some nice features stored in it that I find handy.

@nerthos it's unlikely though that studios would all switch over. For example the industry giants Battlefield and Call of Duty would never run on the same thrid party engine because they don't want to share anything with their competition regardless of if it's a third party.

@mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Never said that all would switch over, just that it's a thing that happened and can happen again, even more so in a situation where there's not much difference between graphics between their engine and the communal engines and going for the latter option can cut off a lot of costs whilst getting the same quality.

@electroidfire Huh. Didn't knew about Steam Sharing. That'll come in handy since me and my brother both have libraries of our own. But yes, the sales do balance the deal. Plus Steam is highly succesful because despite being really intrusive, it does all the "shady" stuff in the background, and most users never notice.

@nerthos Well, the shady crap still can't be as worse as kinda how Capcom and EA went so no matter what, you can't complain since I mean we kinda have a more open area then Consoles which I mean who doesn't like more options then just the standard PS Store and Xbox LIVE Marketplace

@electroidfire You can't really compare a DRM platform (for now, at least), restrictive as it may be, with a console. Consoles are that, consoles. They only let you do a certain set of developer-approved actions and that's it. The closest to a console you'll find on the computer field are Apple products.

@flamingpandaomg As I was going to say before the site locked up and wouldn't load, I made two of my local brony friends by spotting one of them wearing a Rainbow Dash shirt walking down the sidewalk outside of a liquor store. I ran up to him and yelled, "DUDE! DUDE. DUUUUDE, AWESOME!" and showed him the pony wrist band I had on. We proceeded to brohoof and I gave them my Facebook info. Now we've hung out a couple times so far and they're overall good folks.
