@mrmattimation I hang my mask on my door handle when I'm home. Also I have a lanyard that attaches my keys my jeans when I'm going out of the house. The few things I do for not to cherry up at life.

Episode 2 of Star Trek Lower Decks was less awful. Dare I say that it might be good? It is such an abandonment of the classic TNG/DS9/VOY Trek in tone that's still a struggle to make me like the show. But it has potential if it were less krass.

I installed fly nets in my windows. I got fed up with all the little buggers that always bug me in the night. Moths, flies, mosquitoes, various assortment of other bugs.

Gonna endure the heat this week. It'll be colder next week. If I could a mobile AC this week (all websites for all local stores I know have only the expensive ones) it'd be not much of use and potentially crappy for an impulse buy, and it holds doubly true for a used AC (except for a very very low price). I put some research work and buy a better device off season, new or used.

The rain over night made this morning to afternoon somewhat bearable. The temperature is now up and the humidity is slowly getting to me. Still better than yesterday.

@oracle I need to save some money for a portable AC. The window mounted kind is out of the option because we have here no sliding windows. Last year it was bearable but the streak of hot days recently is killing me right now.

Staying awake as long as I can so I can keep my windows open in order to cool down my apartment. It was announced that there will be 34°C. I want to use the cool 20°C air for giving me a buffer.

The bat boys are out. I'm counting around 4 bats but it's difficult to tell them apart when counting because they are flying in circles. I'd like to make pictures but then I would incidentally take pictures of my neighbours with their open windows and I cannot put their privacy over blurry bat pictures.

Star Trek The Lower Decks is something. Half as bad as imagined. It has somewhat of a hyperactive American Dad vibe with sprinkles of Rick & Morty and a huge bucketload of fan fiction. I'll watch a few more episodes but it gets very grating with all the hyperactivity and screaming. They had to establish a lot in 22 minutes and make it interesting and funny, I get it that's hard. The characters there are so not TNG it hurts somewhere inside me.

I often hear English-speaking people say "comprable" for the word "comparable", omitting the first 'a'. Just noticing, not judging.

@scribus One Bundesland (State) here in Germany has opened their schools this week under some terms like wearing masks in the hallways and segregating the school building into manageable sections for contact tracing and spreading out the school day as much as possible to reduce the amount of people. The number of active infections there is low but I sense it'll backfire nonetheless in a week or two.

@scribus I have The Matrix and I believe it had a few scenes with alternative camera angles. But that's all I believe to know about that feature. It's cool and all but to be honest it's a papayaty feature.
