Probably Stuck Between Dimensions
(Yes, I know this place is back. No, I don't plan on returning; I just don't fit in with the whole "4chan vibe", as I heard it described recently. Anyway, if anyone wants to keep in touch, catch TryshaGray on Twitter. Otherwise, have fun, and keep it pony.)
Not all ponies miss out on all that Princess Luna has put together for her show after she brings out the moon! Me? I do some of my best work and spell-weaving when the stars come out. Besides, I tend to be the sort to keep to myself, a lot of the time. Lately, I've found I'm a lot more of a "Twilight Sparkle" person, though some still say I have a very "Fluttershy" personality, right down to being more likely to talk to your critter companions than you, at first. It takes me a little while, but if I don't get too badly spooked, I'll open up. And if you see me suddenly pop out of a moon portal, or catch my eye hovering in the sky as I try to find someone or something I've lost again . . . sorry about that. I really try not to startle people too much with this stuff. It's just so cool, though!

@redenchilada Brofestor.
-
@nvrrmbr Heck, I think it speaks poorly of this place that he wasn't banned shortly after he showed up and started with the severely homophobic and racist insults all over the place. Disappointing. :(
-
@nvrrmbr Gads, that troll is still around? Ugh! He has the distinction of being the first person on here I outright blocked.
-
@leonkfox Well, that much is good, as long as you don't throw your sleep schedule too out-of-whack. And saw the note about turning 21 soon! Sounds fun! Got plans?
-
@ceruleanspark Awww, good night and pleasant dreams! :)
-
@leonkfox Oh, ouch. :v I hope that you are able to get SOME rest there!
-
@ceruleanspark Hey, that works! :) Probably needed it, after that brutal meeting this morning. How are you holding up now? As for me, I'm enjoying a bit of (late) lunch before going back to digging through the sand to get everyone's heads out of it. At least, I sure hope that's where they are. If not, I'm going to need a crowbar to get them out of the next most likely location. *shudder* Overall, though, I'm making headway in bringing order to chaos. :)

@leonkfox Yes, some cell phones still have a thing for tiny 2.5mm connectors, and it's such a pain to find adapters so they will work with regular headphones. And I've tried Bluetooth headphones, but I think my body produces electrical interference or something, because the only way I'd get it to work without the sound popping on and off was to make sure both the phone and the side of the headphones with the antenna were on the same side of my body. And, even then, after an hour, it'd start doing it. Happened with two different headsets and phones that I tried. Anyway, my little HTC Hero is a nice little phone and music player, and uses regular headphones, and the same charger as the Blackberry I have to carry for work. Yay! :D
-
@ceruleanspark Awww, and after that nice shout-out, I had to disappear as things went bonkers at work. Sorry about abandoning you, there.
-
@ceruleanspark I know exactly what you mean! So nice to have charging options just about everywhere now, instead of worrying about forgetting the charger at home and having to pay $20+ if you're on a trip to get a new one. Or snapping the tiny fragile little tip on Nokia chargers. Went through at least four or five that way with my last phone. :(
-
@leonkfox After years of proprietary cell phone connectors, before finally getting a phone with a regular USB plug, I definitely agree!
-
@ceruleanspark Owww, darn that not-do-funny bone! Glad you're doing well enough, at least. :)
-
@ceruleanspark Actually, I did, thanks! Though it always feels a little odd, waking up in the morning after a split sleep night like that. Managing well enough, though. How are you feeling, workplace idiocy aside?
-
@ceruleanspark Wow. I've endured similar embarrassment, but they at least didn't actually put my name up there. That's just ... Yeah. Time to locate new employment.
-
@leonkfox Eep! I hope that it helps. Sorry to hear you're having problems there today.
-
@mrdragon Aw! :( No, it really isn't. That would be very frustrating.
-
And, on that note, as much as I'm enjoying lounging around back on my balcony in my flannels and a fluffy blanket, looking up at the clear night sky, petting my cat as he vies for attention, nibbling wheat crackers, brie and grapes, and chatting with folks here on my Macbook, I think it's time for me to try to get back to sleep. Stay well and have fun, everyone. :)
-
@scribus Reading that, I suddenly had this image of that hilariously colorful flying whale as your cutie mark. *ducks and runs!* :D
-
@ceruleanspark Grrr! Silly Hasbro! Hmmm. I suppose, until you can hit up a craft or hobby store or somesuch that sells parts for making dolls. They might have a little cowboy hat for her. (Doing a quick Google now, it looks like there are a few spots online.)
-
@ceruleanspark Awww, very cute! But a fold-up paper hat instead of her classic cowboy hat? *gasp!*
-
@scribus Ahhh, true, good point.
-
@ceruleanspark Unfortunately, I can't see you desk. Applejack? *peers*
-
@ceruleanspark And, if no one picks up the project, well, you can always pull out some of the sleep-loops, and release it as "new and faster version 2"!
-
@ceruleanspark Yaaaaaay! And, really, when it all comes down to it, is there anything better than unlimited ice cream? (Now, see, if Discord had broken out cotton candy clouds, chocolate rain AND unlimited ice cream? Season 2 over, Discord wins, play the theme, roll credits.)
-
@ceruleanspark Ooooh! You know, that just might work.
-
@ceruleanspark And having your sinuses stuffed with packing for days and days while everything heals. That sounds like a diverted septum, all right.
-
@mrdragon Ouch. Sounds like you're not hitting full REM sleep? Or maybe it's just the way your brain is wired. We're all different in our noggins, and the brain is such a mysterious place. Well, heck! In that case, yes, sleep would definitely be overrated. :/
-
@ceruleanspark You'll be the wind beneath their wings.
-
@mrdragon I used to think so, but then I found that I rather liked most of my dreams. Now I sometimes feel that waking up is the overrated part.
