@thelastgherkin Ups and downs. Beats depression. I think I'm finally hitting that wall where I've noticed a lot of what I was doing was "work to play" rather than a necessary drive of "work to eat" or a productive drive of "work to work". I haven't quite figured out what it is I want to be working on. I don't think illustration's really taking me anywhere I want to focus on, same as music didn't. And I've just been lazy about working on my game projects when I'm not hanging around a college campus computer lab.

@thelastgherkin So-so. I'm thinking I'm either gonna take a bit to play #Disgaea4 or draw, then make some flash cards for my class tomorrow. Listen around on the chat on #EqDawn. Mostly the usual. I've got some older sketches I left half-finished more than half a year ago that looked pretty cool, so it might be a good time to revisit some of those.

@nvrrmbr I may be reading this out of conext, but I think penetrative sex should never be done between partners that aren't intending on starting a family, especially when there are so many other ways about displaying affection or getting pleasure.

!vgp Plants VS Zombies just managed to slam my Android phone so hard that it locked up for well over half an hour until I opened the case and removed the battery. o.o It's a fun game, and it didn't cost me much, but I'm not exactly comfortable opening my phone like that.

@thelastgherkin There's a point in Over a Barrel at which character behaviors shift. It works, and it does push the story forward, but it felt arbitrary rather than gradual. Either way, I still enjoy the episode. Aaaand without going too crazy with it #plot #newpony #allusion #fetishfuel #lol -> #win

@lightningcrash If you think you can sing, you can sing. Shouldn't be much of a surprise that people have varying opinions on people's abilities and aptitudes, when arguing about one's favorite text editor or the best song on an album or best genres of music tend to happen aaaaall the time. People have different tastes and preferences and things.

@scribus I kinda would like more because I like having spending money that isn't all loans? :B But at the same time, if I'm going to do that, I'm just going to have to snag somepony else's pricing structure, because I'm severely underestimating what people are asking me for on a consistent basis. Doing $20 of work for $5. Doing >$40 worth of work for $20. Eeeeevery time.

@lightningcrash I think everypony who can sing should get together with a decent group and give Norman Dello Joio's "A Jubilant Song" a try at least once in life. Preferably not just a sight-reading though. A real performance. @scribus Oooh, alrighty. Sounds like a lot of the MUSH was at that meetup too. XD I had no idea. Or at least at some meetup. I'm not sure which is which. But yeah, I'm fine. Most of my previous week as devoured by an art commission, which I *think* is done, but I can't really call it done until I've been paid. My copy of Disgaea 4 came in the mail yesterday. That was when I realized I accidentally ordered the premium edition of the game. (I didn't even realize there was a premium edition.) And uh. That's about it. I mean new ponies was cool and all, but I can talk about the episode a bit more when there's been a bit more time to form more opinions about it. But I think it's going to leave me with the same impression Over a Barrel did. Once I get paid, all of that money will be spent in balloons. I've already talk it over with a few pals to make sure the balloon order and shipping will fit my wallet and desires. And I'm thinking of drawing a Revel_Romp ref-sheet to send to the OC thing.
