@scribus I am actually, no joke, getting accusations of racism thrown at me because I think Disney’s movies are all stylistically samey now, which really says a lot at how starved for representation we, as Latinos, are, that we feel obligated to FrankerZiate a less than perfect film with Latinos in it because we think it’s the best we’re ever gonna get.

Don’t ever say mildly critical things about Disney films on the internet. Encanto is a film directed, written, and produced by a bunch of wealthy white men to cash in on Hispanics who are (rightfully) looking for representation at the cinema. Irrelevant to that, though, a lot of the characters in the movie look like brown reskins of characters from other Disney movies. Some of them are literally 1:1 copies. Pointing this out is a great way to get virtually lynched.

@scribus I have the Steam version of The Sims 3 with all the expansions that didn’t require Origin. Ben a while since I’ve played it though so I dunno if they changed the requirements.

@scribus If you have the discs, yes. If not, there are no legal ways to get it digitally at ALL anymore. EA took it off of Origin because they were no longer supporting it and only previous owners can download it. For a while there was a product code you could put in to trigger a download but I think k it’s been taken off now.

https://youtu.be/6JTTIeYqDYM quick & dirty solution to doing lipsync at profile view without having to recolor the otherwise stationary head every single frame. Learned this trick from a guy who works on Teen Titans Go. There’s basically a mask over the head which renders any piece of the face obscured by the mouth layer invisible, so you can see through to the other side when the character opens their mouth.
