I’m probably the biggest advocate for giving modern Simpsons a shot that you’ll find, but what frustrates me is that a lot of Simpsons fans seem to not be able to form their own opinions and if they don’t know the actual episode a joke is from, be it either from lack of context or laziness, there’s a pretty binary criteria for goodness. If the episode is in HD, it’s bad. If it’s not, it’s a classic.

I’m working in a really old version of Flash right now because this cartoon contains a flashback (hah) to an earlier cartoon from 2016 and I need the new animation to visually match the archival footage, and in order to do that I have to use the old applety brushes that me and Scoot used to moan about in between heated arguments about how I’m like racist or something. But they also don’t have a lot of the plugins and stuff I used to use to make this easier available for download anymore. So I’m basically banging rocks together because using the lighter would create fire that’s too hot.

we actually had a president at one time that pronounced the word "nuculear" unironically, think about that for a second, president of a whole country, saying "nuculear", we don't deserve nice things

Just got done driving to Henrico County and during the drive I was trying to come up with a voice for a character. Eventually settled on “Genie from Aladdin but voiced by Dan Castellaneta”, which I realize is basically just a gay, possibly Jewish version of Homer Simpson.
