@scribus I think it's cheaper to buy a real mouse and not bother trying to replicate the skeleton in order to see if a pose is even possible. Yeah... It'd bite back but still cheaper time-wise and financially. I don't think pet shops allow anybody willy-nilly to grab a mouse and contort it.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if everything shown in the Rick & Morty trailer won't be in the new season. I think it's in the realm of possibility that this could be an elaborate act of trolling the audience by Harmon and Roiland.

AAaand I have a new car. I was driving it though a mountainous region and was immediately stumped. I was used to a Diesel with twice the horse power and the new car is a normal petrol (benzyl) car with a 6 gear transmission instead of the 5 I'm used to. Driving in the mountains was a minor ordeal with my lack of knowledge of the machine. It took a good amount of time to accelerate from the 5th gear up a hill.

@scribus What are your specifications? Do you need any mouse skeleton? Do you need to hold only one pose? Do you only need an approximation of the skeleton with a fur (artificial) over it? Has it to be life size or can it be bigger?
If it can be (much) bigger and the look isn't that important you can 3d print a skeleton, drill through the bones and use armature wire to hold it together and for some posability. It is just tedious to make. -
I'm thinking of replacing my shoe laces with elastic cord and permanently attach both ends together.

Yay car insurance. I opted to the more expensive option that also comes with more features that insure damage that I make. For a new car I think it's a reasonable decision. I plan to have that for 5 years and go back to the cheaper one that only insures damage that others make to my car.

@scribus I calculate a cost of a thing in comics for a longer time. Like: Do I buy a new crate with my favorite drink or buy 4 comics instead?
-
When I break it down I could buy about 3400 comics instead of a car.
-
@scribus OK. That's an inflation problem. A new car costs now less than it did back then. A modern car has in addition a computer, entertainment system, navigation, explosives (air bags), automatic driving assistants (break, lane control, distance, parking). Although a house usually keeps its value or increases it over time.
-
Buying a new car, even a cheaper new car, is still a huge thing to put money into. That huge purchase makes all the little things look insignificant. "4€ for a bread, it's nothing, doesn't cost as much a car."
-
@scribus it has no wood paneling but there is always the possibility to use vinyl stickers with woof patterns.
-
I bought a damn new car. It hurts my wallet but at least it's a more sane purchase than I did for many other things. About 13000€ for a Fiat Tipo Station Wagon.

The end of the new DuckTales series! What tragedy! At least the finale was good.

@zeldatra I guess the answer is: Booooobs

Also I'm probably purchasing a new car. A new new car. Not a used new car. A car with close to 0km on the distance meter. It costs me more than I would like but looking through many offerings a lot of them have problems. The last car I looked under the hood had a large spill of battery acid on a structural part of the chassis. Others had not obvious damages or deeper scratches like a bent bumper or scratches that one can feel that goes down to the metal or close to it.
I'm going to get a station wagon from Fiat. I don't want to get any car from Volkswagen when I can avoid it. I saw too much of the process of how they make the sausage.Sunday, 14-Mar-21 21:14:47 UTC from web -
I fear that I have to design my own smartphone holder. Those springy ratchety kind is just crap... At least the one I had in my car. It was fine but often it fell out of the holder due to the leather case and its flap. It didn't have much grip due to its springy nature and not enough grip area, and the one that was there was also at the most inconvenient places. I think a vise-like holder with a screw would be more reliable.

I can only dream of a vaccination. In my region only 7% of the population had one or two injections.

Uuuuugh.... It's so painful to "fix" a Vista era low budget laptop. It has Windows 10 but it runs like ass. I had to uninstall two simultaneous installations of Avira. I have no idea how that was possible. But still it's still ass. Ah. Also Windows Update crapped out and has error 0x8007000d and I cannot fix with any way the internet suggested it. The cherry on top are the broken USB ports and their bent contacts.

My insurance paid out. 3000€ for my stolen car. I rather drove it for 6 more years. Except for some rust it was good. Even the engine was practically new. The last inspection showed that it had the same (or slightly better) values as a new engine when it comes to soot and other crap coming out of the exhaust.

@mrmattimation Your boss is just plain stupid. Any vaccine can provoke lessened symptoms of the disease, making one feel sick, although the strength of them can vary much.. For example the annual flu vaccine can do that as well. It's not an unusual or unheard side-effect of vaccines. Also, just from the cost-benefit side, he could have a bigger loss of productivity if you caught the real thing later. Also as an employer he has to be aware that anyone can sick at any time. It sucks but that's the job of an employer or manager to deal with sudden sick days.
-
A friend of mine has a grandparent close to 99 years old and is in the highest priority category for the vaccine but still has not received a date for the appointment.

@mrmattimation You won the lottery!

@scribus I was playing Captain Toad Treasure Tracker (on WiiU) and just as I threw the last huge turnip at the crow and hit I slipped off the platform and died during the hit animation. It was quite frustrating and nerve-wracking as I had only one life left. During the whole gameplay I was not picking much money for lifes and was often time reckless and had not many lives.

Being killed in a video game right at the final blow of the last boss just before the final end trigger was processed.
-
@scribus Chaotic wacky. The whole situation goes out of control crazy. In Regular Show the main characters put up chairs in the park and then next the world is spiraling down a path to total world destruction wacky.
-
This season of Close Enough felt more like Regular Show with its wackiness than the first season did. It got insanely crazy.

Just bought Lying Cat and The Will action figures (from the SAGA comic) from the USA and it's just at the 25€ limit before I have to pay import duties (about 19%). Even with that it'd be much cheaper than it costed when they were released.

I hate my lungs. Due to the cold air my lungs and my windpipe shrink so breathing is not easy. It's especially hard when I ride my bike in such circumstances. I almost fainted at the end of my ride minutes after I got off the bike.
