What is worse than a 3-year old little brat? That brat's parent(s)! I'm in murder mode.

I'm so glad I've waited. With the AMD Ryzen 9 3900x price drop I can think again of making a new PC.

@scribus I'm a mostly hygienic reasonable person and already practiced most basic things like keeping distance and washing regularly my hands (going outside, coming home, before a meal...) and being highly aware of not touching the face upon touching others (shaking hands for example). Seeing others doing the same thing on a loosened quarantine is almost impossible. Whenever seeing public rest rooms somewhere else or at work... You lose faith. In my opinion it'll spread even faster because the mass of infected people is higher than at the beginning. 3 months in a tight lockdown would solve this problem, however most people gave up after a few weeks.
-
Two dozen people (including many children) fired up the grill and partied in plain sight of my window this afternoon. Because of those idiots we have all to suffer.
-
@mrmattimation There are Ryzen CPUs with an integrated GPU, but they are on the low-end and have a G at the end of the model number.
-
@scribus I'm principally bothered that there are ants in my apartment in the first place.
-
Today I've killed about 30 ants that tried to invade my apartment. I live on the 3rd level of the building. I haven't expected so many of them this high off the ground. I'm glad they were only in the bathroom where they could be easily spotted in front of the white tiles.

My face face mask broke. The part for attaching the rubber strap snapped. I fixed it with a good 'ol 3D pen and fused the part back together. Clumsily, but it holds for now.

"Like, Comment and Subscribe", the most uttered phrase on Youtube. Why don't they all shorten it to "LCAS", as a single difficult and to pronounce and short word? Or with a little bit of reordering it can be "SLAC" or "CLAS" or even "LACS". The call to action has become a call to snore and groan over the time to the point that's implicitly always assumed at the end of the video even when it's not said.

That darn child! Stomping at 7:30 on a Sunday. My lust for murder is slowly increasing.

@scribus I'd consider calling it a double crit fail on an advantage roll.
-
@scribus Nobody could see that coming hahahahaha

I know that my face face mask is unbeatable but I've ordered some regular cloth masks. However they have some fancier prints on them. I wonder if they will be needed when they arrive. Nonetheless. I'll have something after the pandemic whenever I do some woodworking and sanding.

New Rick & Morty episode. It's all over the place. Definitely controversial for some people.

I wanted to use https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/banana.htm to tune my USB microphone with an equalizer to reduce the treble and boost a little bit of bass, however I had to remove it because this doesn't work with Discord. None of the virtual inputs provided with the software are seen by Discord. Also the user interface is not very user-friendly even after reading the user's manual. I give up tuning my mic because my problem is not very huge because my mic already sounds good. I just wanted to enhance it a little bit.

@scribus First of all the scale of my mask has to fit. Due to the scanning process and the myriad of 3d programs I had to use the scale is all out of whack when exporting. So I had to guess the right scale. I used some marker places and guesstimated the final thing.
-
@scribus I'll put a filter behind later. This model doesn't have any fixtures for a filter. After printing I consider thinking about one, or even none. I also could just wear a normal mask under that.

I cannot stand "The Midnight Gospel", the series from the creator of Adventure Time. I aborted half-way through the first episode.

I ordered parts to make my own laser engraver. I already have the laser module but the rest is missing, like the frame and motion system.

I need to learn 3D modeling with blender and some minor 3D character animation. I wanted to participate in a game jam (Ludum Dare), however the art side blocked me in an extreme way to a level of annoyance that I gave up. Programming the game mechanics are would have been simple enough.

My desk with my microphone. I even 3d printed 100% fitting cable clips in order to attach the cable to the microphone arm for better cable management. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/875490

Things that bother me: The phrase "<some fact> after all". For me it's always a groanworthy cheap way of exposition. The "after all" is the icing on the cake to make it more obvious.
