@scribus How else to protect a hoard of toilet paper? When the hoarders aren't dragons then they need something to help shoot fire.

Man. I gave in and paid a little premium to get isopropanol. Could be worse (just 50% more than I had paid in the past). I got a finger nail polish remover but it is just 99.9% isopropanol. Also I have additionally those fluid dispensers. For some reason the bottle with the dispenser was cheaper than the one without.

@scribus Maybe it's just a city druid in their beast form.

There are people posting photos of the water in the canals of Venice. It's clear for the first time in a long time.

I wanted to buy a bottle of isopropanol (IPA) but the prices have tripled. Or I cannot buy the cheaper stuff anymore. It wasn't consistently cheap before however I cannot find the cheap kind anywhere. I wanted an additional bottle for my resin 3D printed objects as an replacement run out of it. To my detriment IPA is also used as disinfectant. I've bought mine for 8€ with shipping. The same seller has a bottle for 21€ now. I could use normal ethanol to wash the objects but it isn't as effective.

I was just at the home improvement store and they had signs with a note to keep at least 1m distance to the cashier. Yeah. Sure.

The world is a bunch of chickens, and this time it's not the bird flu. It'd be so easy if people would wash their hands a little bit more often with soap.

Of course the Autobahn was closed when I wanted to drive to my D&D game. It took me 1.5h to get there instead of the usual 45 minutes. Three trucks crashed and one of them leaked a ton of diesel fuel.

Nothing amuses me more in a sudden shocking way like a wet paper towel shredded by a tiny CNC router. I was engraving mug coasters made of slate stone. During the process I wanted to wipe off the cut material that piled up. I came a little bit too close to the cutting bit and it grabbed the paper towel and shredded it to pieces and flung them all over the place. Luckily I put some plastic walls around the CNC for EXACTLY this case.

Nickelodeon's "Glitch Techs" is fine. Not offensive. Not great. Just fine.

@scribus That and a ill-conceived spinoff of a cult classic with a lot of expectation baggage attached to it.

I was stressed out today before leaving to work. I was searching for my car key however it took too long and grabbed my spare one from where I keep my car related papers. I knew that I didn't lose them outside. It turned out that the key rolled out of my jeans behind the bed. Enough to not notice on a glance.

@scribus I can remove all the manga stuff from my recommendations by unchecking the purchased manga for the use for these recommendations. I always had some manga in my recommendations but that was a huge flood. As long as my Youtube recommendations aren't f-uped I'm OK. Every time I watch a video of unknown origin or a topic I don't like in general (like a friend linking to a bonkers flat earther video) I use the incognito mode of my browser. Otherwise I'd live in hell.

Dragonquest Your Story is hard to watch. It jumps so erratic forward in time and the character designs and animations are terrible. 20 minutes in and I'm about to turn it off.

I recommend the show "The Owl House". If it doesn't grab you within the first two minutes it'll probably nothing for you.

Watched episode 3 of Thundercats Roar. The animation is sometimes very involved and springy but the whole random humor just doesn't fit with me.
