  2. @colfax Oddly, since my current and previous car were Volvos, that makes bizarrely perfect sense.

  3. @misterjaybrown I just finished watching it here, too, so I know how you feel. Very bittersweet ending, both for the show itself, and the show coming to an end. #

  4. @leonkfox On Android, I recommend ROT13 Translator. Very light-weight, and easy to cut and paste.

  8. @leonkfox Busy as always, juggling fireballs, herding cats. Glad it's Friday, though! :) And you?

  9. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Ohhh, yes, that's one of those vicious cycle things. Ugh! Well, it sounds like you're pulling out of it, thankfully, so here's hoping that results with work will improve, bills will diminish, and panic attacks will ease up. Sort of a reverse vicious cycle. A happy cycle! :) #

  10. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Ouch. I definitely know how the debt one goes. I hope that it's nothing that you won't be able to dig yourself out of with some time and stubborn resolve. As for the fieldwork, is it your own feeling that you haven't managed much, or something indicated by the ones who will be evaluating your work?

  11. @trister That would be hilarious. Probably kind of gross, depending upon how much they played up the spitting and drooling, but hilarious.

  12. @trister Sure you can! Just not very well. Nor clearly.

  13. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Oooooh, I LIKE it! Ready to fire? "Eee-yup!"

  14. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Eep! Well, sorry to hear you had an attack, there, but I'm glad that it wasn't anything that you couldn't handle. Anything in particular that seemed to trigger it, or just one of those passing things?

  15. @ceruleanspark Hm! That IS interesting. Obviously, she learned from observing how the song she sang was mangled. Then again, Tabitha St. Germain doesn't sing for Rarity; that's handled by Kazumi Evans. Hmmmm.

  16. @thelastgherkin Hmmm. So, they sold out their heritage and identity for the sake of convenience. I get it now . . . ;) Seriously, though, it might have been amusing to watch earth ponies clearing clouds out of the skies. Whole batteries of catapults loaded with earth ponies, aimed at the skies! Wheeeee!

  17. @ceruleanspark Unfortunately, what could have been a sweet, heart-warming piece was ruined by what sounds like it was composed and orchestrated on a synthesizer hastily picked up for $99 at the nearest Radio Shack, and performed by one of the production crew's teenage kids after a few weeks of organ lessons. This resulted in a cheap sound quality, and a herky-jerky flow of the song in general, distracting from the song's otherwise adorable premise. If the song were done with current production quality and commitment, it would be an instant classic on par with "Cupcakes" (the song, not the fanfic).

  18. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Lily! :) Hello, there! How are you doing tonight?

  19. @ceruleanspark Uhm ... torque.

  20. @cavatina Glad to hear that you made it home all right. Sorry to hear that school has been so rough, though. I hope that a little rest there helps some! #

  21. @ceruleanspark They have "Winter Wrap-Up" to celebrate doing things the earth pony way. Although, if they were truly doing things the earth pony way, why are pegasus ponies still allowed to fly to clear the skies, something an earth pony couldn't do? And shouldn't Rarity have been forced to construct bird nests with her hooves and teeth, instead of being allowed to manipulate them using telekinesis via her horn, which is essentially using magic? Hmmm ... #

  22. @cavatina I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets a bit self-conscious about this. I guess that we sort of balance out those guys who come on a bus or train playing their music at full blast through their little cell phone speakers. :/
