@abigpony No seriously that's the core of his assertion. There are a lot of bronies, therefore there are going to be people in the group who say things the rest of us don't like. Apparently it's not OK to merely say "Don't joke about rape on a child friendly website", we should try to explain why rape culture isn't funny.

@redenchilada The problem, as far as I can see it, is that people want the site to cater explicitly to their whims. They've grown up in the world of facebook and twitter and having feeds that agree with your viewpoint 100% of the time and have literally no idea how to deal with alternative viewpoints. That's why every time two of us have a discussion, half the site starts ranting about arguments.

@toksyuryel I will honestly admit that I wish people would like it less because it lowers the potential of them spewing it around, but everyone is allowed to like whatever they want to like. It's more of a "not in my backyard" thing, I suppose. Of course I can't expect people to stop making such jokes, but I at least want to be able to hide from them which is why I explicitly look for child-friendly networks where I (hopefully) can be safe. I must apologize for my poor wording, though. I was mostly annoyed by a community on a child-friendly acting like this, but I clearly made it seem like I condemn everyone who likes it, which I do not. I'm sorry about that.

@abigpony OK, you say something that irritates someone without you knowing ("telling it straight" counts as this) and they get upset. That's not against any rules yet. You respond with some variation of "u mad" or such. That is considered harassment.
