  1. I wish @minti hadn't abandoned !mintrefresh =/ it was more than just a refresh script, and the additional parts of it still haven't been merged into !rdnplus.

  2. @redenchilada Even !mintrefresh picks that up, which is interesting.

  3. @redenchilada One of a few reasons I'm not ready to stop using !mintrefresh yet.

  4. @bitshift Oh. I guess that's ok then. But it's still frustrating that the key icon doesn't work on untagged ROT13. I'm still going to have to keep !mintrefresh for dealing with those. Also it seems to have two more formatting buttons than RDN Plus does.

  5. Well looks like I just found another reason why I can't get rid of !mintrefresh yet. RDN Plus's spoiler button doesn't actually ROT13 anything, and its key icon doesn't either.

  6. @colfax Oh wait I forgot for a brief moment that was a feature of !mintrefresh.

  7. !mintrefresh and the media tab do NOT get along at all.

  8. I think !mintrefresh is being a little weird… sometimes it just skips over a post. Refreshing manually causes the missing posts to appear in their proper place in the timeline.

  9. @magicalheartcadence Actually there's people active here 24 hours a day, so there'll always be someone to welcome you no matter when you join ☺ to make your usage experience with this site much better, I suggest getting either !mintrefresh (recommended) or !rdnrefresh

  10. @tarby To make it auto-refresh the timeline for you, acquire either !mintrefresh (recommended) or !rdnrefresh (these are both greasemonkey scripts, so make sure you have either the greasemonkey extension for Firefox or the tampermonkey extension for Chrome, depending on your browser.)

  11. Interesting, !mintrefresh initially recognized the fully-qualified name as mine and highlighted the post, but after refreshing the page manually it no longer does.

  12. @sonorouscadenza But I like this logo. And !mintrefresh doesn't let me change it back =/

  13. @pinkiepiewarrior I recommend acquiring either !rdnrefresh or !mintrefresh at your earlier convenience. It'll make your life a whole lot easier. Naq lbh'yy or noyr gb ernq guvf jvgu whfg gur pyvpx bs n ohggba.

  14. @redenchilada This is another nice feature of !mintrefresh: it doesn't have that button.

  15. @lyrica @artisia Yes indeed, I highly recommend !mintrefresh but if you prefer !rdnrefresh is also available. These will automatically update the timeline without you needing to constantly refresh the page, making the web interface far more usable.

  16. @huggsboson The math tells me I now have two reasons for why I use !mintrefresh instead of just one like I had before.

  17. @pony !mintrefresh does have some features that !rdnrefresh lacks, though.

  18. @caberea !mintrefresh or !rdnrefresh

  19. !mintrefresh still randomly decides to stop refreshing.

  20. @minti @lyrica I prefer !mintrefresh now for the way it handles mention highlights, but I do miss the new post highlighting from !rdnrefresh.

  21. The new version of !mintrefresh seems to randomly decide to just stop refreshing until I manually refresh the page. This is with Firefox 13.

  22. @nerthos I switched to !mintrefresh when !rdnrefresh wasn't working and decided to stick with it because I like the way it highlights mentions better. I still long for an easier way to see new posts though, like what the line marker in my IRC client lets me do.

  23. @cavatina or !mintrefresh

  24. @redenchilada Been using !mintrefresh I see

  25. @thatonepony That might get me to switch back to !rdnrefresh… I really like !mintrefresh though…

  26. !mintrefresh If you favorite a redash by mistake and don't unfavorite it before navigating to another page or reloading the same page, it becomes impossible to unfavorite it.

  27. !mintrefresh in firefox 12 seems to cause the RDN tab to light up when inactive even when no new content has appeared in the timeline.

  28. @bitshift I get that from time to time with !mintrefresh too.

  29. Oh I don't like that. No I don't. !mintrefresh

  30. And now sometimes I'm *not* seeing an in context link for posts that are a reply to something… !mintrefresh
