@ellistia Didn't you meet up with those furries at university? Start drawing more art? Set up a proper FA profile for yourself? Take your first comission?

@ceruleanspark I met with one guy who I hoped to get to know better, but nah, I went to the christmas party meet and saw him there but didn't talk to him or anyone else there for the usual reasons. As for the art, eh, I guess I have got quite a bit done, though I don't really feel like I've improved or anything. The commission I feel was simply for the most part an act of generosity on your end (which I am very grateful for by the way); I would be no where near comfortable charging as much as you paid for that commission. Commissions in general are only a thing of the future for now, until university is over. Will have to just wait till then and see what happens.

GAAHH CURSE YOU LIBCONFIG. I'm trying to code a D20 system attack calculator that uses a character.cfg file to grab all the stats and weapons required to add the correct modifiers, and it's just deciding not to work. !nolife

@northernnarwhal this is bloody brilliant. I honestly cannot think of any constructive criticisms to make in this case. The hand is near goddamn perfect, and the lighting style stands out a hell of a lot. I could easily mistake this as something straight out of an actual manga. Well done!

i have an assignment due on monday and due to my idiotic actions (i.e. being a lazy cherries) it means I have to do like 1500 words tomorrow which I'm not looking forward to because I've been struggling to get more than 250 done in a day and I keep struggling on what to write and it just frustrates me so much and ugh i just want this course to end already

@ceruleanspark You're incredibly patient with all our bullmangoes on this site, and that alone is saying A LOT. I couldn't ask for a better admin here. I have a genuine respect for your intelligence too, both because I'm able to see it in your comments but also because you don't even need to flaunt it for us all to see that it's there. You're always willing to help folks out and if you do something you always have sound reasoning behind it. Without you, we wouldn't have RDN, and this is really a haven of sorts that means a lot to the regulars here so I can't understate your importance. I know all of this can be possibly be seen as superficial but I really do mean everything I'm saying. I have a lot of respect for you and think you're genuinely a good person, as do many others here.
As a sidenote, you and Gherkin are absolutely the cutest couple. I hope things look up for you, feeling down is never fun.

@northernnarwhal this reminds me of the Beedrill pic I did a while ago (http://pny.lv/7wbx) where I also tried foreshortening. The sole looks fine, but it seems you did a similar thing to what I did; the leg kind of looks like it's been squashed from either side, like you may notice on the drill part in my pic. It's a pretty difficult perspective... I never really figured out how I would go about fixing it, but in your case it seems you could probably fix it by lowering the point where the foot meets the top edge of the leg, and making the whole left side of the outline of the shoe and the leg more rounded like a semicircle (whereas currently it kinda looks more like an oval shape). Idk, it's hard to explain. I'd redline it if I wasn't lazy :v

@techdisk C is, in fact, the predecessor to both C++ and C#, which are both mostly supersets of C. C++ has access to all of C's functionality via the <c*> headers, but has automated garbage collection and an OOP system. I would argue that idiomatic C++ and C# are higher-level than C, and Java is around the same level as idiomatic C#.
