Today in “I can’t believe this actually happened to me”, my boss is upset that I answered an email from the district manager before he did because in his mind it makes him look bad. The email was addressed to both of us and I already had the answer + required paperwork on me because I had been investigating the same thing that the DM wanted me to know about. Maybe answer the email faster then?

Hanging out with friends today and for the first time in like two years I’m not the designated driver so you best believe I’m going into work hungover tomorrow

Just realized that the day two years ago that I decided to try and speak to a therapist (which I am happy to say I am no longer doing and am doing just fine!) is nine years to the day that I uploaded my first cartoon, “The Execution.” 365 days in the year and it was that one. Funny!

Linus is my favorite Stardew villager because for some reason ConcernedApe wrote him to be the least sympathetic homeless person in all of fiction, like it’s actually a little bit offensive, and I love that.

I just took and passed a SafeMark food safety exam as part of promotion training because it was faster than taking the 8 hour online training course. Have now been made aware that passing the exam does not mark the 8 hour online training course as complete in the system, so now I’m studying for a test I won’t take because I already took it and passed.

The feud between Lauren Boebert and MTG inadvertently proves a certain stereotype about women and their ability to be nice to each other. They are literally the same woman in every way and they hate each other.

A local elementary school recently paid someone who was very obviously a furry to draw their mascot and now a bunch of cars are driving around town with some guy’s fursona on their bumpers

Statistically speaking given my race, education level, and address I’m more likely to be a Republican so I’m about to go be an anomaly and vote in the Democrat primary

It’s primary day in Virginia, and this year’s a little different than 2021 because redistricting moved me to a new district that is so far left that the republicans have to switch parties and try to win the Democratic primary in order to have a realistic shot at winning. The two candidates in the primary this year are two similar looking guys with similar names, like that one Futurama joke

Discovered an incorrectly programmed formula in my cigarette inventory book that causes the calculations to be off by anywhere from $100 to $300 every week. Looked through the other stores’ books and realized that the same error exists in almost all of them… which means that some of the other stores have been cooking the numbers because their final variances have been very small. Hmm.

I have a “I’m in another country and can’t make it to work on time” dream kind of a lot for some reason.

I had a very stressful dream last night where I managed to sell my pilot to [adult swim], but ion the pretense that it was ready to go when it actually wasn’t, so I had two months to get it animated for air at the start of the broadcast season with no budget because the network thought it was finished, and without a budget I had to keep working my retail job at the same time to keep money coming in, AND I was in the UK also to coordinate the actors so I had to fly back to America before the next morning to get to work on time.
