-Saeko, and presumably most other characters, have their own dialogue box walla! When speaking to other characters she has sound bites she’ll pull out (“Hey,” “Mhmm?” “I see,” etc). That will make things much easier down the line as I don’t have to edit Kasuga’s.

-She is mute in most other minigames except Can Quest, where Kiryu’s dialogue is still used even if playing as Ichiban. Very, very weird.
-She… grows when you try to open a locked door??? The animation itself seems to change your scaling factor. It isn’t noticeable as Kiryu/Ichiban as they’re roughly the same height within a few centimeters, but Haruka is much shorter so it’s very obvious. She then shrinks when the animation is done. Very very weird.
-Sprint speed seems to scale to your height. This is Very Bad.

Weird factoids about playable Haruka:
-she is capable of doing all of Kiryu’s minigames although because she is much shorter some of her animations are a bit weird, IE she doesn’t reach the handlebars in Can Quest. Not sure how easy the fix for those things is because although I COULD tweak the animations, they’re meant to be universal so switching the party leader to anyone else breaks the animations for them.
-she CANNOT play most of Kasuga’s minigames, he takes over for those. Likely has something to do with the game switching to his cutscene model or something like that, I haven’t looked too deep into it yet.

IRL, the expressway actually improved traffic on 66 MASSIVELY, despite the HEFTY ($10+ sometimes!) tolls for taking it. Alas, video game AI makes decisions based on states and known outcomes and 1s and 0s, so it does nothing in the game.

Cities Skylines 2 is so great, I love how the entire town will all choose one road to drive on so no matter how many new highways you build they will all decide to clog up a suburban street forty miles away because they all decided that is the best way to work

my favorite part of the Persona 4 anthology is that the returning Persona 3 characters have been flanderized to their most recognizable traits so Akihiko goes from being a smart guy who strives to become stronger to a protein-obsessed meathead with more muscle than brains

this was the most normal of any of the Trump elections and I’m not stoked about it. On top of being a bad outcome, everything about the election was really, really boring, which is such an insane thing to say about an election where one of the candidates dropped out and the other one kept getting shot by friendly fire
