  1. @nerthos @rohan probably not as bad as Golden Mech's... You have no idea how much I pray the game to die a horrible death so they can do something awesome with the Battletech licence... Oh and in case you are wondering what Piranha Games made during that Clan Invasion update I heard someone drop 40 million. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/848751

  3. @mushi Actually I have no idea what that is ( like, in that building block ) ... the church in the background is also a PoI.

As for actually playing it in Brazil, yeah, I recommend you try to get pokeman's with someone else, As in, there is probably someone in your immediate surroundings who likes both walking, pokemon, and maybe if you're lucky, nerdy guys ( ohkay, that last one was in jest :+ ) http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/848587

  4. @moonman Aww, so you do not even want to remain a long time player ? Meanwhile I just picked up words about a party for PoGo and I can't even officially install it yet. ... Guess I will just remain an Ingress player for a bit longer... The people whom I play with just shared this. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/848584

  5. @mushi Haha, well the WiiMote was a success actually, and then Sony and Microsoft had to create their own version. And I do not think anyone could ever unironicaly defend those things ( http://imgur.com/QG3T2kd ). Think about it, the Wii sold billions mostly because of that gimmick ( but mostly because it just worked right, and you could do things with it like bowling, and people know bowling, so they could just pick it up and play )

VR technology on the other hand. Oculus ( now FaceBook ) was dumping tonnes of money into it and mayhaps took too long perfecting it, now the competition has ran off with similar idea's. Just like with the Motion Controller idea actually. Does that mean it will inevitably go away ? I hope not, VR is a kickass experience. Kinda like your first roller coaster ride ( *wink wink* )

However, the biggest difference between the above seems to be that Oculus/FaceBook is actively trying to poison it's own well. Which is weird.

  7. @adiwan http://imgur.com/a/UqSbL ... Oh, oh my ... Well I sort of expected that, though if I had to vote I would first have a long and hard thought about it. I mean, there are a ton of examples as to why I think Hillary Clinton would be terrible.

  9. @zennx I took a dive down memory lane and found some stuff from my Kuntao hokkien silat days and, yeah, I think I found one that would be good, ( and one backup in case it does not sit/fit well enough ). Also do not worry, it is only for training against a boxing-pillar. Originally not even for myself but someone else asked me after finding the boxing-pillar thingie in storage of the rec-room. But now that I have seen stuff like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pZ8jSmNoYs I might just end up back into the art myself... dammit youtube, why are your recommended video's so viral for my brain ?

  10. Could someone explain to me how to stand when you do something like a chain punch ? ( as in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mangoB8YS4uV4 ) I just got the question and, ehmm, I assume it really doesn't matter as long as both your shoulders are equally near the punching bag.

  12. @tiffany Write them down in a booklet. Optionally you can just add a little cypher ( or a tough one if you want to be fancy ).

Examples of a simple enough cypher that you can do by head is to just end all passwords with "@[number of characters in password before @ sign]" ... So the password to rainbowdash.net could be "thatrainbowhorse@16" but in your book you only jolt down "thatrainbowhorse"

  13. Dear clickbaity articles . Look at this http://imgur.com/O24jVeJ , I deliberately made a screenshot and put it on imgur since you are not deserving of my clicks. Look at it ! That is a picture of the Nintendo NX fake reveal ( http://www.gamesradar.com/nintendo-nx-controller-images-supposedly-leaked-are-they-real-or-fake/ , read the update part ) of about roughly a month ago ! If you want my clicks, you have to work for it.

  15. @tiffany I do not have any real figures, but it was about 4.000.000.000 Euro according to sources I heard. Which kinda makes sense as the Scottish Independance referendum did cost 2.000.000.000 Pounds more than estimated.

And yes "the country has spoken". You would be stupid to just ignore the results of something that did cost so much money. The least you can learn involves something about how people are coerced into voting for something only to regret it the next day, leading into talks of a new referendum.

Ergo, The first referendum was valuable, but possibly did not have the value that people who wanted it were looking for.

Saturday, 25-Jun-16 12:28:54 UTC from web in context
  16. @tiffany ~Qualm : an uneasy feeling of doubt, worry, or fear, especially about one's own conduct; a misgiving.

I agree to that, but do you really need a new referendum for that ? To hold a referendum on that scale requires a rather huge pile of resources.

Also I heard something about Scotland ( http://pny.lv/0ln66 ... pretty much the sea of yellow there ) thinking about leaving Great Brittain because they all seem to like Europe.

So now it is up to the politicians to decide what is best. Leave the EU and possibly lose Scotland, or just declare the referendum to be too close to count. Both options have possible long term effects, both options have pretty sides aswell as ugly sides.

  17. Anti-falten creme ? ... So it's a creme against wrinkles ? ... Well seen as Nutella is almost 20% palm oil and 5% low fat cocoa, I am actually giving it about equal chances of actually working as the actual but inedible stuff. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/847677

  23. Someone just linked me this vid when we were talking about guns and gunsafety. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGCKFzGAfQ0 . Lets not focus on the gunsafety at all, I find it very entertaining that there are at least 5 things in here that are "extremely american". The first one is within the first 10 seconds of the vid, linking "family fun" to "shooting a gun".

  26. @adiwan So I took one gander at one of the vids on there, ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAkM4W_9aC8 ) oh wow, this is like DIY porn right there :D ... Only problem is that I still end up learning more about electronics than wood. Why would putting a half microfahrad capacitor in paralel show you that the run capacitor is bad ? And how do you fit bikes into a capacitor ?

Do you see the problem here ? ... Science has ruined me !

If this was actually how space worked then we probably would still have 2 moons on earth ( named Luna and Possibly Maria ), or a nice ring like Saturn, or the Giant-impact hypothesis is total BS.

Oh, sidenote here, Phobos might actually be ripped appart by Mars in some 20 to 40 million years, and that will give mars a nice ring.

  28. @pennyfortheguy Here in the Netherlands we have something called "bob" ( Have a nice commercial which I'm sure you can understand without speaking Dutch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_C7AhWPxxU ). Which is mostly if not only motivated around driving home safely. And yes, it works. However it would also work as a Psychopath and Sociopath detergent. The only problem is, how are you going to find your "bob" ? Finding one person who is willing to order "cassis" instead of beer ( as in that commercial, since it is a softdrink http://www.2twintig.nl/beeldbank/HERO/images/Cassis_Original_33cl_K.jpg ) is hard. Finding 2 people who are willing to actually do so, wow, then charisma really is your dumpstat.
