New to the series as well as the community, I thought it was a bit silly at first, but the way this fandom has grown has really intrigued me.
I've never been part of a social network before, so this is new to me.

@purpletinker I know you don't visit !irchighway very much, but I know that some of the members there were very displeased as /co/ and /v/ were posting images from their meetups on 4chan and making imagemacros, making fun of them, etc. If KYM is there they'll undoubtedly do some form of mass coverage (as well as use this as a marketing opportunity towards YOU GUYS, if they aren't there with merchandise I will be surprised) and the images will go onto 4chan and it will soon turn into personal attacks towards certain bronies. I've seen images of the past NY meetups and I'm going to be honest and say you aren't really the prettiest people in the world, but I don't really want to attack anybody based on that. But 4chan? 4chan will. And you'll see it. Realllly fast.

@derpy I'd recommend at least grabbing an IRC client and getting on #mylittlepony !irchighway It's a lot easier to chat there and they're probably my favorite members of the fandom. Really chill place where you can talk about anything.

@derpy If you want to you could come to !irchighway where I'm much more active or you're free to ask for IM information as I'm willing to talk to most people. I'm a bit more morbid outside of the "can't swear or hurt feelings" box, though.

@theawesomepony IRC is an old way of communication that stands for "Internet Relay Chat." It is still commonly used as the most primary way of "chatroom" within most communities. It's minimal in features as it's mostly text, but there are a few protocols that go through it like DCC which allow for file transfer. It's one of the best ways to talk to the regular members of a community. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Relay_Chat I see you're on your iphone and I believe you can find an IRC client if you search for it in the app store. !irchighway is the place I hang out with for talking ponies.

To all the #skype ponies about I just wanted to mention I've had a Ventrilo channel for ponies up for a few days now and if anypony would prefer that they're welcome to shoot me a PM and I will respond with a username/password and vent info.
