Known across the web as Pokebis. Gonna' roll with Ponybis for a while out of spite.
New to the series as well as the community, I thought it was a bit silly at first, but the way this fandom has grown has really intrigued me.
I've never been part of a social network before, so this is new to me.

@scribus Yeah, it is I guess. IIDX is way harder than it looks which is what I'm primarily playing right now. Here's an example of the songs I'm passing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgOaHWBwo34 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuFpJfDqQqA and I can only A these (goes up to AAA), but this game is HARDER THAN IT LOOKS. Like.. WAY HARDER. The scratching is the hardest part! 7 buttons, 4 in lower row (white in game), 3 in top row (blue in game), and a turntable (Red in game)! The turntable makes it so hard! And on top of that the timing is tighter than any other rhythm game and if you miss notes it's ridiculously unforgiving! I'm still better at this than Taiko, though, but mostly because I play it much more. !rgp

Any bronies here play Beatmania IIDX? I'm onto level 9s now and I'm really glad I can finally look like I'm playing the game well. :p !rgp

@loak Just buy a US CS controller. I got mine for $30 at Gen Con after I buddied up with one of the people hosting the video game events. http://tinyurl.com/3rqh73g eBay or, if you're lucky, Craigslist could have cheaper (I've seen a few near me). If you're worried about the games softmod a PS2 or download Lunatic Rave 2 (Stepmania-like IIDX simulator that works basically perfectly with IIDX skins) !rgp

Finally starting to pass level 8 charts in IIDX rather well. And finally starting to learn how to pinky. Doesn't stop this game from still being ridiculously hard. Now that I can play songs I always wanted to play I just want to play even harder songs now. This game is crazy in that you either feel really, really satisfied, or really, really frustrated. !rgp

@scootaloops Firstly, there are DDR USA/SN2/X as well as a Beatmania 5th Style (Original, not IIDX) cabinets in Circle Center Mall, which is attached to the convention center #GenCon is in. http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/arcadelocations.php?locationid=1703 this place apparently has an ITG cab, although I've never been there. There's also one in Noblesville at the Stardust bowling ally, but I've heard bad things about the pads. There are a couple other ITG machines in Indiana, but I don't know where they are off the top of my head. Also, check out this site for the Indiana Bemani community: http://www.indyddr.com/forums/ They have an Arcade location section in their forums. !rgp

@ceruleanstarlight I've been thinking of making a Pretty Pony Pack for osu! ( http://osu.ppy.sh/ ) after I finish some preliminary stuff with Art of Dress and Winter Wrapup maybe somepony could help make a storyboard like the Pheonix Wright one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3QjSMXRYnQ !rgp

@starlightbolt You're lucky you live in a place with other bronies to play DDR with, it's really a great social game! I have a couple of softpads I occasionally break out and use a PS2 converter to play Stepmania on PC. I've actually been thinking of making a "Pretty Pony Pad Pack," but I've been thinking of mapping pony songs for osu! first. Good luck improving, things hit hard at first, but eventually you'll be finding songs you found impossible before are a breeze and you AA them like noponies business. !rgp

Hey, everypony! I tried setting up a group for lovers of they rhythm genre of video game. !rgp for Rhythm Game Ponies. If you like Bemani games (that includes DDR), Rock Band/Hero games, or even more-niche ones like ITG and DJMAX feel free to discuss it here and everything else. The logo is tentative for now and if anyone else has designs or caps they think'd fit shoot them my way. I don't meant to conflict with !vgp or anything, but fans of this genre usually have a pretty active community, so I thought a little bit of distinction could help.
