  1. @zach121k Where does your language arts teacher fit into any of that?

  2. @zach121k I understood none of that. You certainly have a way with words. Was that all intentional? Were you trying to type two things at once?

  3. @ponydude2143 But why are you posting the thumbnails of images rather than the full things? This place thumnails them anyways.

  5. @nvrrmbr Is there any reason to be a mod here? There doesn't seem like much to be removed save for the occasional I'M A MOD AND THIS GOES AGAINST MY IDEOLOGY!11!!

  6. @nvrrmbr I think Cabal willingly deleted it himself, but it had a lot to do with his fights with Purple Tinker.

  10. @sparklepeep That's a bit steep. I'm not familiar with New York and I don't know where BroNYcon is taking place, but I know plenty of people who get away with sleeping in convention centers and showering in places like gas stations. Sometimes improvisation is the best way to go. Is a My Little Pony meetup worth that?

  11. @mrdragon Yes, but why did he do that?

  12. @mrdragon I have a lot of Javascript practice from the Unity 3D game engine, but it's still a lot different from web development. It's not a bad language to know under any circumstances really.

  13. Why is @Cabal @deleted ?

Thursday, 22-Sep-11 23:58:15 UTC from web in context
  14. @mrdragon Shouldn't Javascript also be a high web-development language to learn?

  16. @greydragon412 Whelp, it's great to know you're an outcast like the rest of us. I see most people come out on top when they start from outcast, figure people out, and then work themselves to success. Believe it or not, you have the advantage here. But the first step is to accept other people whether you like them or not. If it helps, don't think of them as friends, but as stones for you to cross. Just make sure not to scratch the stones because they could bite you if you don't treat them right. But you'll find the stones lead a path to true success.

  17. @macpony55 Whoa, whoa, watch out there. Learning HTML ain't a problem, but you won't be able to make the plugin with just that. You should start here: http://status.net/wiki/HOWTO_Make_a_Plugin

  19. @greydragon412 People introduced you to ponies. People introduced you to life. People taught you to speak. People taught you how to survive. Is your response the middle finger?

  20. @greydragon412 I'm not endorsing gay bashing, but since when is there a "way" of a fandom? This isn't a philosophy.

  21. @greydragon412 How did you find ponies? Did you mash your keyboard? You sound pretty defensive about this. I guess you have a severe case of hipster. I'm pretty sure real people made it, so you're out of luck with your "own world" setting. And I'm pretty sure I'm a real person talking to you unless you're a really good Turing test. Or I'm a really good Turing test.

  22. @greydragon412 It's a pretty horrible show, but it shouldn't matter what other people think of it. Your opinion should be your opinion and other people shouldn't be able to wane it. Ignoring popular things doesn't make you unique or special. It just makes you miss out on things you could enjoy. Sometimes the popular things lead into more niche things that you end up liking a lot. It never hurts anything and it only makes it easier to socialize since you'll have more things to relate to people with.

  23. @greydragon412 If nobody around you watched Family Guy would it be niche? I think it'd still be a pretty popular show.

  24. @mrdragon Every band ever covers Take on Me. So yeah. Ironically my first exposure to this song was the very same game community.

  29. @leonkfox There's no reason to hold grudges. I judge people on a by-current basis regardless of my viewpoint or respect towards them since so many factors go into the perspective and actions of the others. Generally they learn from mistakes and are capable of getting along with you under the correct circumstances. I only respond to past things if someone else brings them up and I wish more people would follow this philosophy.
