@mrmattimation If that was the reason, then they would've said it. Porting a 2D platformer to the Wii U definitely isn't hard, though; if papayaing MMF2 games can do it, a studio like Game Freak definitely can.

@mrmattimation I believe you can get an adapter for it that'll let you plug in composite/S-video, but I don't think it'd support games in resolutions under 480i (i.e. N64 games). If you're mostly gonna record SD stuff you'd be better off with a Pinnacle Dazzle DVC100.

@northernnarwhal The specific one I use is the Game Capture HD. I know there's an HD60 model available too if 1080p60 is important to you.
