So I’ve got kind of a conundrum, I think I may have done something a little inappropriate. After I got transferred out of my store, I left my discord & such for some of the employees who were around my age in case they ever wanted to chat since I wasn’t going to be working it’s any of them anymore and I thought some of them were pretty cool. One of them was about 19, he’s a lot of fun to talk to but I was a bit iffy because he’s just out of high school. I know there’s nothing inherently weird about that given that I’m a pretty young guy, but he was still one of my employees for a long time, he started working here when he was sixteen. Now he wants me to hang out with him and his friends sometime, which, again, not inherently weird, but they’re all fresh out of high school too. I’m starting to feel like a little bit of a creep now, because I am getting invited to outings with all of these people who just graduated a year ago. Am I over thinking this, or did I screw up?

am personally of the opinion that if the FCC can't stop Tucker Carlson from spouting conspiracy theories on the most-watched cable news network in the nation, then they're completely useless and should be abolished

Now that my pay’s going to go up I’m getting more and more tempted to buy a house in West Virginia. Been looking at some places in Charles Town. Super affordable compared to where I am now. Have some friends who are in bad spots too and I’d be able to finally open my door to them.

My supervisor at corporate came in the other day to discuss me with the store manager. Thought I was getting transferred back to my old store because things went south real fast after I was transferred here. Turns out it’s only half true. I’m going back there for some more training… because my name was submitted for a big promotion and they want me to be ready when a position opens.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the best looking games I think I have ever played. What makes that slightly difficult to appreciate is the memory leak that causes any play session longer than a couple of hours to slowly dip further and further in framerate until you're eventually experiencing the game the same way that I experience one of my cartoons while I'm making it.

Been seriously considering moving to Charles Town now that I work about a half hour out from the West Virginia border. Wouldn’t mind having to cross state lines every day if it means red state living costs on a blue state salary.

always thought it was kinda weird that the capital of Virginia, where many of the leaders of the American Revolution hailed from, was named after a city in Greater London.

she complains about me to corporate anyway because she has an authority problem. I’m not an asshole, or I try not to be. But you gotta do your job right or other store can’t function. She can’t handle any amount of coaching. It’s obnoxious how many times I’ve heard from my bosses in Maryland over bogus complaints she’s filed. One time she got a nail in her tire and she told the police that I slashed her tires.
